*** ShokkA9 WM6.5 G-ROMs *** THE END ***

I've the same experiance, i'm very used to the m2d interface. After enabling m2d the taskbar is not available for tipping anymore. So no easy way to shut down GPRS. What can i do about it?

For the rest, i guess this is my 30th or 40th rom, simply IT'S THE BEST! :)

It's fast, good touch response, stable, and all kind of nic appz are already included.

If you using M2D, u can install HTC taskmanager, and taskbar is available for tipping again.

1st tip will call up HTC taskmanager,

2nd tip will call up the soft taskbar.....

however, the htc taskmanager icon will overlap the time,

i wonder if shokka has a solution to it? to make the htc taskmanager icon invisible....

Wifi no problem. Very smooth and fast.

But surfing thru GPRS then when want to disconnect is a problem.

Doesn't your GPRS auto-disconnect when not in use?

I cooked the transparent HTC Task Manager for you guys the last few ROMs....

I will make a cab, or at least supply you with the images so you can overwrite in Windows directory. I forgot last night :)

To me, it is a waste of time, if it doesnt shut apps by tapping 'X'.

I just use Task Manager (windows), tap the menu key and it is default. Long press = favourite Settings.

Task Manager is good, but if 'X' doesnt close apps, it just as good as WinMo Tsk Manager :)

I will upload the images and or cab for you guys later.

I've updated to your newest ROM and I have big issues ( I've tried also the Lite version ) but the same problem is occuring as the last time I posted, but the problem can't be solved by pulling out the cable 5 secs after Job Done, or multiple resets and reflashes.

The problem is, when the Flashing is done, the phone reboots, comes to the robot picture part, processes a bit, the it gives me the preconfiguration is done, reboot is required, and this just keeps repeating over and over again no matter what I do, and the closest I get to the ROM is if I press buttons on random, then in comes to the Time configuration screen but it reboots in a sec when I get there...

I am really frustrated by this :/

But with these new cores, they actually fix stuff to. But they introduce new stuffs, that create new bugs.

23017 IMHO is best core to date. Stable, fast.

Thats the old UI too, but the last & best of bunch i think.

Overall its a 23047 is a stable and fast build. i dont really like how microsoft changed the cosmetic looks. some of the button are smaller therefore harder to press. kinetic scrolling is not as effortless as it used to.

anyway..i found out that by increasing the File system cache size to 8MB(maximum) using Advance Config, the scrolling in the start menu is smoother :)

well..just my 2 cents

I don’t know if a Hard-Reset will help, but it’s worth a try.

Take out your sim and memory card first.

Press and hold down both “Call” & “End” hard-keys and poke on the reset hole, while still holding on to both hard-keys, wait until the “Format” screen appear.

Release both hard-keys, proceed to format and let the device restart itself.

It is normal to reboot a few times (2 or 3 maybe), but if it still continue to reboot non-stop, it’s better to flash back to a previous stable version.

a couple of people have the whole...repeated reboot scenario....read this...(MY WORDS BY THE WAY)

I recommend hard resetting Omnia...by this method...

soft reset by using stylus (in little hole )..

Then straight away, hold down the call & end call keys (the two on front of Omnia), you need to be quick...

You should then get a Format screen. Format away (if you shouldnt be formatting, then you should of backed up before flashing it :))

Then when it finished, hopefully it will boot straight away.

If not, reflash after the above procedure.

This is a slightly common issue with WM6.5 ROMs on all devices, however i have NEVER had it. And i have flashed my phone over 250-300 times easy....probably more.

Half of those with WM6.5 ROMs....
