Guest reds_dada_blue Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Hi!shokka.I haven't try your roms yet.because of my Internet connection problem.Just want to ask you. is your next rom build 23060 have start menu at bottom left or top left. I hope it is at the bottom left. Thanks for your best rom.
Guest shokka9 Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 @ reds_dada All UI after 23017 have the Start at the bottom....So 23060 will have at the bottom. To be honest, after going back to 23017, i find the newer UI better and more intuitive to use. But 23017 is far more stable and reliable. @ all Glad you all find the ROM nice, and seems to be no issues.
Guest bigmaras Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 May be 23064 build?:-) Wow new build :) 23064 have new contact manager.
Guest shokka9 Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 May be 23064 build?:-) Maybe?? Depends if i get in time.....also...i know 23060 is fine, no serious issues... I am not chasing the latest builds now, i just want to leave my ROMs with good solid builds. I WILL NOT BE MAKING ANYMORE :) We will see :D

Guest DJRedLine Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Excellent 23017 ROM Shokka. Quite fast and stable. I'm having trouble installing the CHome Editor from the 1st page as it keeps saying install unsucessful ?? all other cabs seem fine.
Guest shokka9 Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 THE THRUTH IS ...... pfff I dont know anymore The Truth is.... Omnia requires a lot of extra work over HTC's. I flashed my HTC the same day i got, i already made a ROM (basic modification of Pauls ROM). I flashed it from my SDcard in minutes....I have a recovery image... HTC is far more easier to cook and make stuff work, most of what we use on the Omnia either directly came from or was made for HTC device. My HTC is Android, i got it to play around with, i will get HTC HD2, early next year or something similar if there is by then. I was gonna get Omnia II, but it has only just come out here (this week) and i kinda gone off it, as it would mean doing everything the same as Omnia I. Porting SYS&XIP, porting apps, porting UI, basically, always porting something from HTC :) The truth is buy HTC!! Why try to be another device, when you can buy the other device!! If somebody want to contribute an Omnia II to me for cooking, i will gladly make ROMs for it..But i doubt it! Masta92, thats the truth, the whole truth and nuttin but the truth, so help my black a*s!
Guest arnelm2002 Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Ya suxxxx bro.... Ya wanna make me buy a HTC???? Ya SERIOUSSSSSSSS?????? Hummm, got my omnia 2 sooon (couple week) but now ya make me hesitate THE THRUTH IS ...... pfff I dont know anymore just got my omnia II yesterday. my omnia i900 w/ shokkas v21. the II is awesome in terms of screen brightness. AMOLED is the best. very cool on video playing. just my thoughts, rather than an expensive HTC.
Guest shokka9 Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 that was the only thing for me on Omnia II - the AMOLED screen, other than that, there is much more out there on other devices :).. 1GHz CPU in HTC, but also Samsung to come with it too. But HTC has been doing WinMo for centuries :D, they know what to do...i love my Omnia.... but it is very time consuming to do anything well on it.

I love my omnia too and with almost 10 months left on contract i'm stickin with it (unless i win the lottery :D ).. Who knows what will be about then.. BTW, love that HTC man, you must keep us all updated on the Android progress (although as you know i've got 1 beady eye there as well :D )..

A..MO..LED Hummm, I will think about HTC... Anyways, my Omnia is like the first day wit some many upgrade and works fine So I cant wait, hope HTC will work on AMOLED for next Windows phone I'M THE THRUTH, YA KNOW DAT BRO...
Guest Batistian Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Porting SYS&XIP, porting apps, porting UI, basically, always porting something from HTC :) Having cook ROMs as a hobby, that's the fun of it. Wasn't it? Being able to make them work on a device that's wasn't made for it, that's the satisfaction. Isn't it?
Guest Masta92 Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 (edited) Nice job on yo last M2D Seems I got less bug wit others apps and it's more stable I still got some crash but the "tape the screen...gnagnagna "disappear so I got to disable/enable the module Except dat, this M2D roms is just wicked One suggestion : Taskbar is too hard to see (3G icon for example) Edited October 8, 2009 by Masta92
Guest shokka9 Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 nice pics Masta, looks as good as i wanted it to!! Yeah, much better than older M2D i think. @ Omnian Yes, you are right, that is the satifaction, but sometimes it can be a hinderence too. It can put you off a big job. I have lots to learn, and cooking for Omnia doesnt help me anymore..... I wont get rid of Omnia...EVER...i like it! it has never let me down.
