Does anyone know how to change where the "All Contacts" soft button on the poeple points to? It is going to SECContact.exe now and I need it to go to Spam alert Contacts.

Any help is welcome. The registry changes were helping, momentarily. They are a mask of the real problem. Anything that delays boot time is helping, ironically enough. Wozzer and I are testing some things out.

I'm surprised to hear that adding a delay is helping. I've been able to reproduce the issue by using wlanloader to unload the driver, then kick off wlanautoldr with no other apps running. The result is a consistently hung wlan driver. If I unload and reload using wlanloader, the driver inits fine.

If a delay is helping, I'm wondering if there is a code conflict specifically between wlanautoldr and something else that is loading at or near the same time during boot. I've found that once fully booted (v5 stock rom), the problem is persistent. Maybe what is in conflict is being delayed long enough for wlanautoldr to complete the initialization of the driver? just a thought...

I've done a few searches on various boards and have seen posts that describe similar problems on the later versions of the i900. I hope this isn't a code problem.

ahh. i downloaded that program, but i dont like it too much. anything you have in mind that just simply install and changes the bar to black?

go to the 3d carousel of panes, go to Spb Menu, go to tools, and then go to theme

There is an option under that for black.

Stock CC20 works fine. So I think its an introduced issue. What works for me, doesn't for Wozzer, what works for him, doesn't for me. Tough to track down when its so dang random.

The silver lining here though is that it worked in CC20. While not easy, at least we know there is a fix :excl:

awesome rom..... but can i make a suggestion... if not for all of us even though you said this is a personal rom and you dont owe us anything. If you could put flash 9 or something that can do flash 9 in both browsers. So far I can only view Youtube and everything else wants flash9. Its a jump in the right direction and flash9 doesnt slow the browsers down as much.

Everything else rocks! keep up the great work. I think if this had that in the rom, it would make it 100 percent complete. just my two cents

Well, I finally got a chance to flash to v5 but it's hanging and the Samsung Omnia splash screen on start up. It seemingly went as smoothly as any other flash I've ever done too. I've tried to flash 4 times and all of them are the same thing. No errors no nothing, it just doesn't start up. I was going to flash to the leaked rom but I can't get UMDL to recognize anything that's .IMG, only .BIN.

Any suggestions?

After messing with it for a little bit I figured out how to flash the .img, but when I try I get a "USB_INITALIZE" after clicking detect then soft resetting my phone. I'm going to have to leave it for a while, any suggestions are appreciated.

I have discovered one little issue with you ROM wozzer. I can't sync with my vista laptop because under connections there is no PC connection where I can uncheck the thing I need for vista to see it....forget what it is called.

EDIT nevermind...it's there under windows, just not in SPB MS3

Hey get this: Now that i think about it, when i flashed the v5 w/out M2D, i dod NOT uncheck the usb connection setting on activesync and everything worked fine.... Just an observation.

Sorry for the late response, work is killing me. I can put some of the v6 changes into effect.

The non M2D should have advanced config, I'll flash with it and check that out.

Thanks Nagilem for pointing out that Shozu was still in init, I'll fix that.

I've got a few last things to try with wifi, one of them helped me a lot, but not for adrynalyne. If wlanautoloader was corrupt, then wireless would never launch. I'm putting the original wlan launchers in, and making a registry tweak that seemed to help out.

The next M2D version will have SSMaHo and M2DC installed, along with M2Du21.

Wozz- You a straight-up gansta, pimp-a$$ Mutha F^keur! I have followed your work from the start and I almost gave up on this piece of crap i-910. The screen rotation NEVER works right, the lights stays on for no reason, the keyboard is junk, and it locks upside-down sometimes until I do a reboot!

I have awaited the AWAKENING of my phone since November of last year! Today I WILL FINALLY BE ABLE TO BREATH LIFE INTO MY PHONE AND MAKE IT WHAT THE ALMIGHTY WANTS IT TO BE!!!

ok, so that was a bit much... but you rock. Let's hope I don't brick the sucker! If I do, I will weasel them somehow into replacing it! Verizon knows how to completely CRIPPLE a phone, but they have the worlds BEST customer service IMHO.

Yeah, I started on V4. Upgraded to V5 with a day or so. V5 works pretty well, and I had some larger changes that I'm trying to work out. V6 will probably take a little longer to test.

Make sure you have sound turned up (hit the volume key), and make sure it's not set to bluetooth headset. If you are using a headset, try it with the BT set turned off.

This indeed fix my WiFi problem. At fist under connections the Wifi icon was gona or replaced with a different icon. Applying this patch brought the wifi connection back. Thanks alot!
