Get SPB Backup app or, if you're feeling lucky - Sprite Backup. The first one *will* do the job for you, the second...well...developers claim it will, but then again - they also claim it's world's #1 backup utility, but I've never met anyone for whom Sprite Backup worked properly, let alone level 2 (another device) or level 3 (upgraded ROM) backups

Okay i wanna know if this one is just me but the gps lock on google maps sometimes it takes an age or doesnt wanna connect at all, is there something weird with where i live or what, im not in a city by any means but im not in total farm country and yes i do this while outside and it still seems to have trouble accessing a lock all the time.

Edit: By the way, thanks for all the work youve done man and i hope you can have a couple brews on me!

Gps should work, you just have to sit out/near a windows for a minute to get a lock.

I haven't used any of the back up software, so I can't comment.

The theme is the original Diamond theme. You can use any of the themes for M2D that were designed for the Omnia.

Edit:Expect less updates from me today. It's gonna be a long day at work.

Thank you so much just flashed from the leaked beta to v5 with m2d and its awsome only problem is i backed up with spb and put alot of stuff back on that you took off, still have like 50 meg available with all my programs :excl:

wozzer your probably geting tired of hearing this but you are the MAN!, your speed and dedication to finding solutions is sick, i am literally reading through these posts and new pages are appearing, I am currently running the leaked version of the rom and havent used yours only because there are a few apps that i use that have been removed like Digital Frame, Business Card Reader, FM radio, gonna wait around and see if more people request it or find the cabs somewhere

Is NetCom Frame 3.5 on here? I also want to run Live Search, but after installed, saying it needs NetCom Frame.I also want to run that FEWidgets and it is reqquired as well. I tried to install NetCom Frame but gettting error when installed. I tried installing it on the device, and My storage, still getting error. Even though it says something is running, close processes etc., I have everything closed out. I even tried to install right after I loaded your ROM.

Any ideas?

When you say SMPlayer, are you talking about the media player frontend for MPlayer? Is that loaded on this ROM? That's the player I use on my PC, but I didn't know it had a ppc version. (I use MPGUI portable on my mem stick to watch movies at work. Shhh. Don't tell anyone!)

When I used SPB backup it did not backup the apps I had installed to "My Storage". So after the hard reset, I lost about 2/3 of my apps. Now frankly I did not read the manual and I do not know if the program even claims to backup apps not in main storage, but it was a lesson learned for me. Always grab "My Storage" as well as the backup file.

Problem solved: BAF GPS Toggle

Keep it on, running all the time, and it keeps your GPS locked (or at least seeking) sat's. PLUS you can run this with other GPS apps simultaneously (like iGO8). Just pop it onto your home screen, tap it to turn on your GPS, wait for it to get a lock, and then open your GPS app and you'll have an instant lock :excl:

I've been running it for about 40 minutes now with no battery drain :excl:

No, Touch player's actual name is SMPlayer. I included TCPMP, which I think is a far superior player.

Neo: I had it cooked in, but I didn't see any gains from having it installed. Everything took the same amount of time.

Wozzer, have you seen this thread that disables the screen calibration settings at start-up and sets it to the i900's "best touch config"? Maybe something to consider for your next version, if it works on our i910s :excl:

Sigs work weird on modaco. My sig is only shown on the first item by me on each page.

Had a minute at work to myself. Just a heads up, if this works well, I may adapt it to my next version.

Alright maybe this is a stupid question, or has been answered, if so on both accounts, I am sorry, but do i need to flash the original early released firmware, before this, or am I good just to flash this one?
