I agree, especially considering that the dialer between the i900 and i910 is not the same, so without sharing of information, the same changes cannot be made, until figured out. Sure takes the unity out of community.

I guess its a power trip. Those who have knowledge have power over those who don't.

I don't work that way. I share what I know, to whoever wants to know.

Not knocking the work here guys, these dialers are fantastic.

Problem, I installed the black with the blue, but none of the little icons aer there..the keypad is and the text is white...but no little icons

It doesn't work on the i910. Nor will it ever most likely, due to the lack of information sharing.

Try GreyMod... all screenshots from my phone... :excl:

I tried both and same on both... no icons... just the text.

Also when on a call, the buttons behind the keylock are not 100% black... they have a offwhite edge and only two icons show up.... out of the 6 keys only two of them have anything on them. I cant take a screenshot because I dont know how.. hopefully i can just uninstall and wait until its improved... running on my i910

Thats the only reason i910 users had their patched dialer on the stock rom, was because Paul shared the info. I think its ridiculous to withhold information that can help others.

Denisan, I am referring to the white numbers, not the text removal.

That's because those big icons are actually 72x71, not 70x70.

You just need to get a resource editor, open the dll, extract the big square icons, scale 'em up to 72x71px, drop back in the .dll and sign the file to make it work, OR you might download the fixed file I already made:

It's not a cab, just overwrite the file in the windows folder. In the same archive there is a green (diamond-like) plus an orange (i8910.like) mod.

wel, spoke too soon, after instlall the dialer patch to disable the lock, it went back to normal dialer

Easy task: as Paul explained in the "Pathced SECDialer" thread:

- Download HXD (FREE)

- Replace all instances of 'Touchlock' (unicode text) with 'DoNotLock'

- Save

- Create yourself a 1x1 pixel BMP file

- Download Resource Tuner (trial version is fine)

- Locate the bitmaps related to the keypad lock

- Replace each of them with the file you created above

- IMPORTANT - these edits invalidate the signing. I used signcode.exe with the sample certificates from the WM6 SDK to resign the DLL

- Put DLL in windows directory

And here's the result:

man, what theme are you using (I mean about these really cool shadows around softkeys)? with plainblack theme there is nothing like that :D
