Guest condorx Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 ^ It is a modified theme based on "ZIFI QVGA" for Wisbar Advance.
Guest bluey09 Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 Easy task: as Paul explained in the "Pathced SECDialer" thread: - Download HXD (FREE) - Replace all instances of 'Touchlock' (unicode text) with 'DoNotLock' - Save - Create yourself a 1x1 pixel BMP file - Download Resource Tuner (trial version is fine) - Locate the bitmaps related to the keypad lock - Replace each of them with the file you created above - IMPORTANT - these edits invalidate the signing. I used signcode.exe with the sample certificates from the WM6 SDK to resign the DLL - Put DLL in windows directory And here's the result: black/blue dialer patched: http://stashbox.org/499521/SECDialer.dll Hi mate , First of all thanks for your effort and time ... can you please patch the black grey dialer . Thanks
Guest noshet Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 That's because those big icons are actually 72x71, not 70x70. You just need to get a resource editor, open the dll, extract the big square icons, scale 'em up to 72x71px, drop back in the .dll and sign the file to make it work, OR you might download the fixed file I already made: It's not a cab, just overwrite the file in the windows folder. In the same archive there is a green (diamond-like) plus an orange (i8910.like) mod. http://stashbox.org/497396/DIALER%20BLACK-...Diamante-HD.rar Been trying to use this fix...however, i''m not sure on the steps taken. Should I install the cab provided by Denisan, B-Blue Dialer GreyMod.cab first? then copy the .dll to windows? Or should i just go straight to copying the .dll to windows... Been trying but not sure if i'm doing something wrong.... I could get the cab and the dialer running,, but with the flaw on some edges... I'm using i900. TIA..

You can go straight to overwriting the existing secidaler.dll with the one I published. That's exactly what Denisan CAB does: it contains the .dll - "the one with the flaw on some edges" - and copies it to windows folder. Edited April 27, 2009 by condorx

Guest Omega Ra Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 I assume this is still just the i900 dialer. This doesn't fix the lack of icons on the i910 right?
Guest condorx Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 (edited) where did you get that nice taskbar icons   previous page, post #76 :D Link is broken :( :D Now each link should be working. Guest LORD JUNIOR Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 (edited) You think you can patch the HTC DIALER too when you got time. And thanks for your work. The ones you patched are still locking except the Black/Blue one. Edited April 28, 2009 by LORD JUNIOR

Guest disciplined Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 (edited) previous page, post #76 :D Now each link should be working. FIXED DIALERS Black/blue Black/green Black/orange -> http://stashbox.org/497396/DIALER%20BLACK-...Diamante-HD.rar Black/grey -> http://stashbox.org/500135/secdialer.dll FIXED/PATCHED DIALERS (no lock) Black/blue -> http://stashbox.org/499521/SECDialer.dll Black/green Black/orange Black/grey -> http://stashbox.org/500623/BlackDialer-OR-...-FIX-NOLOCK.rar Some issues with the i910. Well I got excited and tried this out. Downloaded the Black/blue (fixed/patched) dialer and copied it to my windows folder on my i910. The first soft reset did not go so hot. It froze when i tried to start the dialer. So i had to hit the button to soft reset. This time i waited longer before trying again and even though it took a lot longer than normal it sorta loaded. It wasn't black and blue it was black and white, but all of the numbers/letters loaded. Also nearly all of the icons where missing even though pressing their blank buttons still resulted in the correct action. The touch disable box was gone as expected. Thanks a lot for all the work so far, but it seems like there's a little more to go. Edit: same result with the unpatched black/blue except the lock was enabled as expected. The icons that are missing are all of the fire right icons on the dialer. Under the call status the right most on first row doesnt show and only the first icon on the second row shows. Are the keys supposed to be blue too or only when you press down on it (cuz thats the only time when blue shows up). Edited April 28, 2009 by disciplined
Guest Kurtisnet Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 Works great on my omnia. Love it! Thanks for the amazing job! :D

Guest Omega Ra Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 condor, do you think you'd be able to make a working one for the i910? cause I would like a black dialer, but as of right now no one can figure out how to turn the text white.
Guest LORD JUNIOR Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 Thanks, mistake in uploading, I will fix early in the afternoon EDIT: try now Working great. THANK YOU!!!
Guest nickmoutia Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 Yes like it. Thanks for your work its much appreciated. :D
Guest Omega Ra Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 any progress on an i910 version of this?
Guest deviant24x Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 (edited) Well, I don't really have any experience with modifying these kind of things but I made my own "black dialer" skin. Unfortunately, I can't find the text files either, or I could make it look much better. Edited April 30, 2009 by deviant24x
Guest ronzo77 Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 I tried the fixed/patched dialer black/grey on i900. Looks great and works. Only slight problem I noticed is on the Dialing/Connected display, the text for Speaker On, Mute, Talk etc. is black. Is there a way to make this text white also?
Guest spike007 Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 Great work. However, does anyone know how to skin this screen so it matches the dialer ? Thanks :-)
Guest ronaldb3 Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 Black/green Black/orange Black/grey -> http://stashbox.org/500623/BlackDialer-OR-...-FIX-NOLOCK.rar Hi condorx, This looks great. And it was easy to install with just copying file to Windows folder to overlay original SECdialer.dll. If I could make one suggestion. A contrasting (white?) line between the numbers that would show up thicker. Thanks again for your work, Ron...
Guest s10camaro Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 Do you think you might be able to change the i910 text to white? You would be helping out a lot of i910 people. Thanks
Guest Денисан Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 Great work. However, does anyone know how to skin this screen so it matches the dialer ? Thanks :-) secstres96.dll - it is this file...)
Guest spike007 Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 secstres96.dll - it is this file...) Has it been skinned already, if so does anyone know the link or could they post here. Thanks
