I feels a little slick, but good. It's like there isn't a case on it. To the poster above I've found the easy way to remove the case is prying from the omnia's stylus holder. It does seem kinda cheap putting it together, but when the phone is in it seems solid so far.

yeah i was thinking of prying it from the omnias stylus holder.. lol.. the case itself looks rather cheap.. but it fits amazingly well with the omnia and when it's holding the phone, the case looks pretty decent..

ive had this case for some months now..

few remarks.

First of all.. its a nice cover that suits well.

some problems:

1. stylus keeps breaking (the quality of the stylus is not that good. it breaks where the iron and plastic meet.

2. if you use your omnia for navigation (like i do) and you have a car holder that cant the omnia with the cover you have to take the omnia out. This causes the lower side of the case to let loose. I fixed this by glewing it back but still..

so overall a nice case but the quality is not to good

I got one of these cases last week. Like others stated:

  • case quality not that great
  • fits device extremely well
  • I use the built-in stylus gently to avoid breakage

I was using a verizon wireless silicon case which was pretty much a $10 piece of garbage, and I can attest that this case is better.

I can't but feel the front side of my phone won't be protected. They should do a full enclosure case and have a stylus slot at the bottom.

Where does the stylus go normally? Call me a noob but does it not just go into a slide in hole thingy as any other pda phone? Getting slightly worried now, just ordered one of these as i've had an upgrade due for a while..

yes, the stylus for this case does slide into a hole .. the hole is at the bottom of the case which is the extra centimeter of bulk..

another note: this case is really good for keeping dust from getting into the phone.. because of the tight fit.. but dust does seem to build up around the buttons :D and theres no way to get it out unless you take the casing off.. other than that.. its great! oh wait. no no.. i can't use loudspeaker for calls anymore because the person on the other end will hear their "echo" as they speak =(

The stylus broke on mine also but a quick email to Brando has me more then satisfied. They sent me a whole new case at no cost to me. Can't get better service then that. Now they have the stylus available for sale too which is a good idea.

I take this case off of my phone all of the time (pulling on the Omnia stylus holder) and I have never had the case break or the bottom section separate. So for me the quality has been good. I have even dropped it on pavement a couple of times with no issues.

Expect a week or so to get the item from Hong Kong.

My stylus broke too but I fixed it permanently. Ill try to post pictures later if i remember but ill try to do it here.

The black plastic piece that hold the stylus looks like this

..../|

../|||=

withe the = being the piece that goes inside the metal rod. I cut that part off completely so it looks like

..../|

../|||

With just the larger circle part left there. From there I drilled a hole into that larger circle the size of the stylus, luckily I had a bit that was the exact size. I think it went 1/4 of an inch deep, it was up to the indent on the metal part of the stylus, then just put some glue in the hole and worked the stylus into it. Really solid, and dont have to worry about it breaking again.

Pictures attatched here if anyone was interested.

Took them with my phone, does everyone else get the "rainbow" effect when you take pictures of white things?
