Guest Exodia
Im using the weather app in spb mobile 2 (and now 3) and was wondering just how much data does it download for its updates. Data over here is insanely expensive and ive gone over my 5mb limit by 20mb, which has cost me an extra $90!! I only use my data for mobile messenger, weather updates and the 'once in a blue moon' google search. Text in messenger couldnt possibly use that much could it? Guest Neil5459
Weather updates can use a lot of data. I think a single city update is up to 20KB (depending on the amount of data available) so if it's set for automatic downloads you could find yourself using quite a few MB per week. I don't know what Mobile Shell's default download interval is, and can't find any option to adjust it; Spb Weather has a 2hr interval as default. Guest Alshandron
SPB has an excellent application to track data usage. Check: http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/pocketpc-s...irelessmonitor/ It provides graphs about usage, tells which application transferred (and how much) data and alarms when a set amount of transferred data is reached. Been using it for couple of months now and I have to say, it serves it's purpose really well.
