Guest Echew Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 ok. seems to me that you have installed CAnalogClock. don`t you? if that`s true, i hate to informe you that CAnalogClock & CHome get conflict one with each other. this happens because when you install the clock he "take" some profiles. the only way i can get to put something simmilar with settings is this CComm_V0.22.cab Nope, I'm running the Stock Woozer ROM with only a couple apps installed (FB, WLS, to name a couple). Nothing about Analog clock... I will look at the CComm file you posted...

Profiles are when you have an appointment in your calendar, the phone automaticly goes into meeting mode or something similar. For year, we're have to use tools like SPB Phone Suite, Phone Alarm, etc to do this. But MS has mentioned that they were going to incorparte this functionality (currently found on SmartPhone edition) into Professional edition. The question was which version were they going to do this in 6.5 or 7? Well after discovering the Profiles panel, I figured they started to put it in 6.5 - at least it seems that way.
Guest Jeanne8fr Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Hello, I am using the CWelcomeCenter as a launcher for my favorite programs. It works great but I can't get it to show the individual programs icons when I slide sideways from one page to the next. I have tried just about everything I could think off. Should I be able to do that? If yes, how? Thanks, Jeannette

Guest StuNguN Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Is there a way to link an executable program from storage. It seems the only available page links are from program files. (no browse option) Thanks in advance

Should I be able to do that? If yes, how? Thanks, Jeannette to work out with wlcomecenter you need to configure through registry (it`s more somple to create a new panel/pges see post 1). to do that you must create on HKLM-Software-Microsoft-CHome-CWelcomeCenter. now on each page go to pictures and put the path to your *.png file. i think that`s it :D but like i said. it`s a lot more easyer to create new panels and pages

Guest Jeanne8fr Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 to work out with wlcomecenter you need to configure through registry (it`s more somple to create a new panel/pges see post 1). to do that you must create on HKLM-Software-Microsoft-CHome-CWelcomeCenter. now on each page go to pictures and put the path to your *.png file. i think that`s it :D but like i said. it`s a lot more easyer to create new panels and pages  Thanks for the help. I have done that yesterday. It doesn't work. It took me a while to realize that there is a complete backup of the WelcomeCenter key under HKLM/Security which refreshes the one under HKLM/Software. I nearly lost my mind on that one until I figured it out. It looks like Microsoft uses that WelcomeCenter page for first user configurations. There must be a flag somewhere that tells it when the configuration has been done. Any case, you add the icon under PICTURES in both keys, or in the 'security' one only and do a soft/reset. It still doesn't show the icon. I tried to put a new key 'icon' as well. No luck. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllppppppppp. J
Guest StuNguN Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 see post 1. you will find that when you create a new page for applications appear all the programs installed on your PPC wherever they are I have some programs that I run from executable files alone. These programs are not installed anywhere on the PPC I just want to link the page to those .exe files. For example I run IGO8 directly from the .exe file on my storage card it is nowhere on the device or linked to the OS.
