HKLM\system\GWE\touch\filter and change the value to 0. Wait 25sec and restart.

Most 6.5 roms would have it built in alredy (my next one will ;) )..

worth checking as it makes it more finger-friendly and you don't have to press as hard..

Just install this cab to improve the phone's touch. Sets all the registry needed.

I would like to give this a try but can anyone offer any assurances that this will be of benefit as some folk on here say opposing things.

You can check the registry values before installing cab. After install, soft reset and you will notice all the values are changed accordingly.

The "Click" key worked fine for me but the "DownUp" screwed things up in my case. After some research I found that the DownUp key is a time in ms between something touching and being removed. A higher number as this fix tells you to do will actually make the screen LESS sensitive and make you hold the "button" longer. In my case lowering that number to 150 helped perceived sensitivity as I can click things much faster now. I guess it depends on your usage.

requirements: registry program

i used PHM registry

Click: change 1280 to 2000

DownUp: change 256 to 750

try to change click from 2000 to 3000 and downup from 750 to 1000 it'll make your screen more sensitive

change

DOWNUP to 0

Trust me.....this reg is for how long the screen takes to recognise touch.

Change it to ZERO and it will be improved, you dont want to change the value to a higher one :)

That is defeating the object.

Definitely agree. Works great with ZERO.

Hey Shokka, just out of interest... what value do you typically use for click?

I'm on Sectors roms (always have been) so can't check ur values. :)

it will be default....

when i played with it, i didnt notice much difference. I have the newer digitizers, so my screen sensitivity is very high already.

With the reg tweaks, it is very easy to touch!!

It is set at 1280, if that helps you :)

thks. yeah... i also settled with the default value of 1280.

Just sometimes have erratic touch screen response but hopefully the value of 0 may help.

cheers for now.

What is "click" for?

Touch value was changed from 0 to 1000 (with manual or auto registry programs)

Click value was changed from 1280 to 3000 (with manual or auto registry programs)

AND...

IT MADE NO NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE AT ALL EITHER LOWEST OR HIGHEST!

It is just all in your heads, :).
