Problem freeze with ActiveSync (Exchange push)

Hi All,

First of all thumbs up for great forum !!! The best for Omnia on the web !

Here is my problem :

My company just setup its Exchange for push mail so I decided to test it on my omnia.

It works great I can have my email and calendar sync ...

But once my phone's screen goes off and I push a button to wake up it is frozen !! There is nothing I can do except soft reset by pushing the in the small whole button. For example I cannot turn off phone... If I try to phone myself using a friend's phone I can here the tone but nothing happens on my phone...

Other than that if I do not turn off the backlight, there is no problem...

Any idea what could cause this? maybe the lock? or the sync itself?

Here are my specs :

Omnia

PDA : i900DXIA/QB05

PHONE : i900DXHK1

S2U2 latest version

ActiveSync with corporate exchange (+ strong encryption lock password)

Please help !

I've used exchange for push email quite a lot with QB05M, never had this problem. Your phone part looks pretty old compared to the PDA part, but probably something to do with S2U2. Tried uninstalling it?

I find the same thing with S2U2.. Have you tried pressing the power button to wake the device up?

I have tried pressing the power button yes but no success.

Any idea how I can upgrade only my phone part? Do you know a good ROM with only the phone part?

I have also now hard reset my phone and will try to put push activesync only without S2U2 if it works then it means it was S2U2. If not then I might try opposite ...
