Guest fenomeno83 Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 (edited) thnx for this share..... but 1 question how does it make the video playback better than in coreplayer. i know that tcpmp is the free version of the coreplayer and supports more decoding capabilities but qualitywise how is it better? tcpmp is an old project of core company.but tcpmp is open source and it is development now by "who want" :D some people create updated codec, new plugins, others repack all these in new versoin, others repack and configure in better mode for some device(as my version) etc etc. tcpmp in general is better of coreplayer, that hasn't ac3 supports, hasn't flv4 support and hasn't subtitles support.and it is NON FREE performance are similar for intel as omnia, but this version is alrealdy optimal configurated for samsung omnia and added all update codec available by tcpmp plugins developers Edited May 6, 2009 by fenomeno83
Guest maf107ezk0 Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 Ok, so now I have a question - why can`t subtittles be added to the Xscale or D3D? :D
Guest darkside80 Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 Ok, so now I have a question - why can`t subtittles be added to the Xscale or D3D? :D It's not that it can't be added . I think that Alexander Sorokin (the maker of the curent sub plug for TCMP has stop working on it  His last version (0.63 beta I think) is at least a half a year old :(.
Guest fenomeno83 Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 Ok, so now I have a question - why can`t subtittles be added to the Xscale or D3D? :D I don't know. ask to subtitles developers  GDI mode is good, not very good as intel, but good (better that directdraw and others) better of nothing
Guest dwallersv Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 Gang, I'm ahving problems with CorePlayer, so I thought I'd try out this version of TCPMP and see if it worked. It's better (slightly -- I actually get video), but not watchable because it drops most frames (probably actually get 1 out of 60). I do all my video via streaming over the internet from my Orb media server. Here's a permalink to the latest episode of The Big Bqang Theory, streaming from my server. Would someone that has good results with this pkg of TCPMP give it a try and let me know how it plays for you? Thanks! http://mycast.orb.com/orb/html/qs?mediumId...amp;l=dwallersv
Guest Gamerek Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 Damn, this version just rocks! Now there is no need to convert the subtitles from .txt to .smi. It works like a charm :D

Guest fenomeno83 Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 some programs autoupdate option (PocketShield, IM+) cause run TCPMP and error with crashing.... maybe because I have set http association to tcpmp you can chanke from hkcu\http\shell\open\command and change executable (for example path of opera.exe replacing player.exe) in (Default) key
Guest Dado... Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 found there but already is set to opera not to player....
