Guest rinnas
I've had same problems before... You must flash back to earlier versions... (I particularly used DXHH1) I only flashed the eboot+pda+csc... Then flash to your desired ROM... Here's the link for DXHH1 >> DXHH1 i900 Omnia Thank You man! It helped me! After instaling DXHH1 (WM 6.1) i can instal any ROM! Super! I had problem with freesing at 0%
Guest zumyman
MEN! NO NEED FOR WINDOWS XP TO FLASH A NEW ROM. IT'S WORKING LIKE A CHARM IVEN ON WINDOWS 7 X64 (LIKE MINE) U NEED USDL GRANDPRIX 1.6.4 VISTA , SAMSUNG USB INSTALL AND WINDOWS MOBILE CENTER. KEEP RESTARTING the phone 'TILL ITS DETECTED, ( SOME TIME MANY RESTARTS) IF NOT JUST REINSTAL ALL SOFTWARE ABOVE EACH ONE A TIME. AFTER SOME RESSTARTS IT WILL TRY TO INSTAL ADITIONAL SOFTWARE ON PC, AFTER THAT JUST GO FOR IT! P.S. AFTER INSTALL GRANDPRIX RUN IT AS ADMINISTRATOR (RIGHT CLICK ON IT AND...) Guest cravenator
I'm a complete virgin 'flasher' ....hi I'm not a techophobe by any means but although the instructions seem simple enough...(I wasn't confused by the jargon at all)..I appear to be missing something. Make the Install Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5 (once)Make Install the Samsung Modem Driver XP (once) Reboot the PC.After the first 2 steps try to disconnect your Omnia from USB and connect it back on. Repeat it 1-2 times so the PC can recognize the phone. Switch OFF the phone by holding the Power button for ~5 seconds.Run the updater. (Works the same way for Original or Cooked ROMs)I turned the phone off ( whilst still connected to the pc I assume) .............now the next confusing thing 'run the updater' on my phone I'm assuming ??...and again I assume this is the 'windows updater' ?? this can't be ran while plugged into the pc I know <BR style="mso-special-character: line-break"> [*]Switch ON the phone again by holding the Power button.[*]Press START and happy flashing. Do not move your phone or the USB wire as it might fail during flashing.[*]Wait until the updater shows JOB DONE! DO NOT DISCONNECT BEFORE.[*]Disconnect your phone.[*]Leave the phone to reboot 2 times, calibrate screen and finish the start-up procedure.[*]Enjoy the new firmware.I switch the phone on again but I see no 'start' nor do I progress to the other steps listed?? Any help would be appreciated......I'm no idiot but maybe the instructions aren't idiot proof ;) cheers guys C
