I loaded the 5.1 rom earlier today and my GPS is disabled when I soft reboot. Is there a app for turning on the gps or am I missing a setting?

That's a standard background for WM. I can't remember what it might be called off the top of my head to change it. I'll have to look.

How do you get the font to look like that?

That is the fab1 ploice font I think. Cant remember where to find it try google. Load the cab and there you go. Its a little tough to read with some apps like text.

TCPMP: I had issues with the playback smoothness.....

I can't even get TCPMP Phenom to install. It gives me an insufficient rights error after it gets to about 20% install.

Running 5.0, havent gotten to flashing 5.1 yet.

how can i have the umdl detect the bin file as its not finding i. Nevermind i think i burned a brain cell looking for this and it was right in front of my eyes. LOL whoops :D

I had this same issue when I first used this ROM. It disappeared after I tried out the other themes (Classic Blue, DVF Green, etc...) and changed the size of the text that is displayed from the default, which is large, to medium. I'm back to using the Rock and Republic black and still no lines so I'm thinking the lines show up with the larger text. I had something like this occur in the past and it was due to using a VGA theme on my QVGA device.

i went back to using a theme which i don't like them and it took care of the lines but the text size had no affect on it and still getting grey in dial pad .

the one i have i put two folders in my storage card soft reset and it autorun for me

pm me and give me a list of what folders you have and where u got it if u get the SD version its so much easyier

i think the one you have is pc version it way to big it should only be 2 gb

I had originally installed Wozzer's 6.5 M2D rom when it came out. When I first installed it, the GPS found 6 satellites in Google Maps and worked fine...once. After that, I could never get the GPS to find any satellites, no matter where I was.

Because I was having problem with slowdown, I decided to try out this Rom. While speed is WAY better than before, I still cannot get my GPS to find any satellites in Google Maps.

I've already changed my settings to Location On and soft reset a couple of times. Are there any other tricks for getting the GPS to work?

Hey, I tried to flash to your ROM, and UDML said it was successful and rebooted my phone, but it got stuck on the Omnia splash screen.

Thanks for the quick reply. I deleted that registry entry, but that last part is kind of confusing me. What do you mean by "match google maps settings with external gps settings"?

I've tried switching Google Map's settings to manual, with Com 8 and 4800 baud. Should I be using a different setting?

the baud should be at 57600

i use nav igo 8 tried google maps but didnt like it

Trying to install the latest, or any TCPMP phenom version and i get this error. It isnt a space issue, I still have 3.5gb left on the main storage and 113mb left on the main memory. Running 5.1, but it has given me this messege on previous ROMs as well, even the winmo 6.1 ROMs. Any help on this?

I don't have an "external gps" option under my start menu ---settings---system. Am I doing something wrong? Need to install something?

I tried setting my Baud to 57600 in Google Maps, but still no luck.

I don't know why, but the redirect key wouldn't stay deleted. After the 4th or 5th attempt it finally worked though.

Last question: Should I set the GPS program port to Com 8, or the GPS hardware port to Com 8? Also, I'm assuming I should uncheck where it says: "Manage GPS Automatically"?

Edit: I read somewhere that I should change the Hardware program port to None and choose Com 8 for for the program port. However, whenever I make the change and then go back into the settings, the program port has reverted back to the previous setting. Is this supposed to happen, or no?

here's a question, in the Radar info, it always shows texas, how would 1 go about modifying this so that it gives the current information in and around where the person is at, OR can someone only have the info from some random website and not by GPS location?

and set whatever program your using to Automatically detect this is how mine is and works perfect and the baud rate

no need to change i just noticed it is defaulted to 4800 if you change it and go back it will be back at 4800 every thing

else should stay as you set it
