Go to hkey_local_machine----control panel------gps settings---and delete redirect ------soft reset

match google maps settings with external gps settings most people say it takes a few mins the first time you connect

This will do nothing for using GPS on our device. This is an option to set up connections to a GPS puck or other outside source.

Trying to install the latest, or any TCPMP phenom version and i get this error. It isnt a space issue, I still have 3.5gb left on the main storage and 113mb left on the main memory. Running 5.1, but it has given me this messege on previous ROMs as well, even the winmo 6.1 ROMs. Any help on this?

I'm not sure why this is happening. I have had it happen with one other cab file myself. I am looking in to what is happening but I haven't found much yet. I'll keep looking.

here's a question, in the Radar info, it always shows texas, how would 1 go about modifying this so that it gives the current information in and around where the person is at, OR can someone only have the info from some random website and not by GPS location?

That's because it is setup with those maps at the beginning. You need to change them for your maps. Two ways to edit the URLs. You can tap on the radar page in the panel. This will open the main radar page. Now tap and hold on the main page and select edit urls from the popup. Put in your urls. Second way is with the weather panel open tap the right soft key that says menu. Now tap on radar setup and tap OK. Replace the urls with yours and tap OK. You will need to do a full update to update the radar, that is option 2 in the main menu section.

I have been around. :D I have just been working on things.

I have the new build and I am working on the port. This will be in the next ROM I post. I have a new dialer skin by Tiki Dragyn that better matches the theme and I will be working on other items to make it look more cohesive.

I am still working on the lock issue and the CHome issue but other then a work around for CHome (which I am not really happy with) I have not found a fix yet.

For those looking for a digital battery meter try Taskbar Elite by Sector. It provides the digital battery as well as some other nice looking icons and works great on this ROM.

I don't know why, but the redirect key wouldn't stay deleted. After the 4th or 5th attempt it finally worked though.

Last question: Should I set the GPS program port to Com 8, or the GPS hardware port to Com 8? Also, I'm assuming I should uncheck where it says: "Manage GPS Automatically"?

Edit: I read somewhere that I should change the Hardware program port to None and choose Com 8 for for the program port. However, whenever I make the change and then go back into the settings, the program port has reverted back to the previous setting. Is this supposed to happen, or no?

Enabling this feature will not get your GPS working better. Under most circumstances it is just a time factor to get things working. If you moved from the last location that you had a lock then it will take awhile to re-lock. Google has been working just fine for me left on let windows manage. For Live Search set it to Use intermediate driver. For stand alone programs like Igo use Com 8 and a baud of 57600. Then wait for it to get a lock. This can take up to 20 minutes for the first lock and is usually faster after that.

Mine would not work until i did that but guess it could have been a matter of not waiting long enough at one time but all i have said is how i got mine working when i was on wozzers rom now that im on yours i just did the same thing

As of right now I know of no way to test this on the PC before your device. It sure would be nice though.

It only replaces the icons and not the taskbar. So what ever your theme colors it to is what it will be.

What do you mean by disabled?

I have it set to "location on" but google maps, live search, and iGo couldn't find the GPS. I was able to use RichesseGPS to turn it on and now it works fine.

Sector made it. It 5% marks is dependent on your battery driver and not the taskbar indicator. Go to the 1% battery driver thread and kabkab created a 5% battery driver there. I have been using the 1024 1% driver and have had no issues with it. It will probably be in my next ROM.

No, easy settings was updated to read in 5% increments in the software. You will need a different battery driver to read the correct 5% increments.
