Guest blazingwolf Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Yeah, it's fine, I got the same as you. I just got used to the snooze button even with the phone unlocked and the menu button coming up instead threw me for a loop. It's fine, it worked like a charm this morning. Good to know. :D
Guest Ninja4Hire Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Hey blazingwolf, Is there any way you can make a cab for the Large Display. I kinda miss it. I searched around, but I could not find one on the good old interwebs
Guest Vahnyyz Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 (edited) everything is working great now lol only thing i need to figure out is how to make IGO 8 "active" in the sense that it doesn't do like turn by turn by voice anymore lol but your rom is incredible **edited info** so idk a few pages back, i think, i had seen that you had mentioned maybe a new rom? is that still going to happen or are you just toying with our hearts Edited June 17, 2009 by Vahnyyz

I'm still on V5 but I'd hate to flash v6 and then think, I could have had a v7! /facepalm
Guest blazingwolf Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Hey blazingwolf, Is there any way you can make a cab for the Large Display. I kinda miss it. I searched around, but I could not find one on the good old interwebs I can look but I won't guarantee that I can make it. It's hard putting those programs back together after they have been removed.

New things that are in the ROM now: IE favorites panel New add mail icon Lock screen fix Personalizer fix Touch sensitivity fix Bluetooth OBEX fix Missing Text panel icon fix .net cf 3.5 fix (some of you might not have noticed this as it was caught early and a fix was upped after 28 downloads occurred) Panel that I'm trying to get it: Message Center (this one is causing me issues) Things I am still working on: Panel - CHome, CAnalog clock, Neo theme - landscape, increase panel touch area bugs - contacts don't close, ATContacts error (try as I might I can't reproduce this one), landscape phone issue (this was in an older version but I have not chekd in the surrent ROM yet)

Guest xpilesx Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 (edited) holding out for a release that's > 6...to lazy to dl all the cab fixes...lol... any progress with the exchange-disappearing-lock screen-notifications issue? haha Edited June 18, 2009 by xpilesx
Guest jaycarl Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 For the first time in yrs I actually had some time to kill. No work, the family is visiting family and I'm all home alone with just my Omnia, laptop and an itch to try something I have never tried before. Everything so far works awesome and is very quick. Only real issue for me is when I try to send a MMS msg the picture I send wont resize, it just says it cant resize the image or something like that. It worked fine with the stock Rom. Other than that, spb MS3 rocks and is a must have with this new upgrade. Took me a few hours to get everything loaded and configured. Very happy with my new and improved Omnia with GPS and WM6. Glad I waited to flash because the Rom cookers are always improving their Roms and I felt it was a good time to trust them. Very few bugs and most already had fixes. I feel like a Rock Star on my new Rocked Out Omnia! Thanks to all who contribute to forums like this, you made my life a little easier.
Guest chubbyboy88 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Hey blazing any update onthe cab file to make the phones home screen look like the previous version?

Any ideas? Did you turn location to on? Start/Settings/Personal/Phone/Services tab. Tap on GPS then tap on Change Setting. Set location to on. Were you outside? Good view of the sky?

Thanks for the kid words. :D The MMS issue is a known issue that occurs on most if not all cooked ROMs. The workaround is to set the camera to a lower resolution. Now that yyou have flashed I have a new version coming out. ;)
Guest blazingwolf Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Hey blazing any update onthe cab file to make the phones home screen look like the previous version? No. Sorry, but I have been working on fixing bugs. Once I get those squashed I will work on it.
Guest blazingwolf Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 @Everyone, A new sys and xip just dropped so I will be looking in to that but I will not be releasing that for a couple of days (if not longer) as I check it for major issues. :D
Guest blazingwolf Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 New version uploaded. Only the bin files right now but I did do a toggle version.;) Zips will be updated tomorrow. The messenger panel is as complete as I can get it right now. I'm hoping to get an icon at the top like the others but it has defeated all of my attempts so far. One extra I did not mention before is CHome. I have added this to the Neo theme (you will need to add it with CHome Editor). PS: Games are back in to. :D
Guest leapyear1980 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Hey blazing - I wanted to ask a quick question and let you know the status of my weather icons after the hard reset you suggested p.38. Still have the small circle today menu icon, and a red X for the default selection in that menu. I am not concerned with this functionality, but have downloaded the new ROM for the other benefits. My neebie question is what steps do I need to do to prep the phone for the new ROM other than the steps you have indicated on page 1? Thanks in advance for your assistance, and once again great work on the build :D Leapyear
