Thats exactly how my setting already are under MMS Options and MMS still won't automatically convert a large picture to a smaller size to send it. Could this be a bug only Im experiencing?

Is there another MMS app you guys recommend that will allow me to send any picture through MMS?

No, it is not a bug only you are experiencing. It happens o multiple people across multiple ROMs from different cooks. The best work around right now is to lower the res in the camera and it should work after that.

Hey BW, thanks for the fix on the locking screen pullin up the contacts. The new screen is way cool! So, thanks for that ;)

My next question is, Can anyone tell me if there's any better userability with this latest rom or is the big apeal mostly aesthetic? I'm using 5.1 and diggin it just fine. I'd switch to the 6.1 but would like to know some honest oppinions now that some of you have had a few days to live with it. I read through the list of features BW posted but I can't tell if it's just pretty or actually more functional than the last rom. Easier to use? More stream-lined? New features? Runs fast and smooth? Or just prettier?

I also like the 6.1 version, but I am wondering if BW will be able to offer a version without the 1% battery driver. I experienced the same battery life issue that others commented about. It's either imagined or legit, or could be from something else, I freely admit that I could be delusional.

Hey blazing thanks so much for the rom.. i have been trying to read through as much as I can to see if this was addressed.. Is there anyway to take OUT windows Live.. this version that is on here will not allow you to receive notifications when you receive mail.. it kinda just "locks" up your screen.. I tried this version before the 6.5 rom and it did the same thing.. this was the only version I found that would work like it should.. I dont know if you can use it but its the .cab file for windows live no im...  the notification has something to do with the Instant messaging... file is attached..

what i am trying to do is have hotmail run like any other email account.. when you set to "as items arrive" you will notice you do not get any notification that you are receiving email.   this version does work.. however since windows live is cooked in.. I cannot just install it because windows messenger and windows live is already there and it is seeing a file in the rom and not overwriting it and allowing the notifications to come through..

also is there a way to cut down the Sensitivity of the d-pad??

I'll look in to it. It is very easy to remove the IM portion if no one uses it though it is better to fix the issue then get rid of the IM portion. :D

D-Pad sensitivity? What issue are you having? It works very nicely for me.

Quick question, I have been a Wozz rom guy, but decided to switch to your rom. I like it alot. The only problem I am having is that when the phone is in sleep and wakes up, it doesn't matter what I was doing when it went to sleep mode, it opens up to my text messages inbox? I didn't see any settings that would fix something like that, and I have reflashed it once already, but its doing the same thing. Hard reset/soft resets galore didn't fix it either. Am I just crazy and missing something really simple?

I believe Microsoft really wants everyone to use the HTML version of windows live.. aka.. really hard to see on a screen..LOL.. so they kinda diabled the "push" version of hotmail in the version that you are using.. it still works but you do not get notifications only from windows live email.. yahoo.. gmail and other work fine.. just windows live because it is pretty much now a HTML version... this version is from 2007 and doesnt use the HTML version of windows live so you are able to get all the notifications..

my d pad just seems to skip a lot on CMessages and Fave Peop screen.. just when i scroll right.. left seems to be fine.. it just seems that scrolling right seems to skip the 2nd entry and jump to the third and keeps doing it.. :D on my phone anyway.. lol

Have you added a third party program? No one has reported this issue except when coming from the lock screen and that issue was fixed in 6.1.

Well, like I said, it is better to fix the issue then remove stuff but I will look in to it.

As for the D-Pad I think it is swiping style and not an issue with the device. :D

thanks.. its microsofts problem.. thats why now they will send you a "text message" to let you know you have "email" kinda redundant if you ask me.. but.. hell im not Bill Gates.. lol.. its just because they want you to use the HTML version.. which because its not considered an "email account" you will not receive on screen notifications or alerts to let you know you have email when email arrives in your messaging folders.. is there a way I can uninstall windows live and messaging so you wouldnt have to recook" the rom?

I downloaded the rom about 4 days ago from post #1. The about screen shows Windows Mobile 6.5 pro; CE OS 5.2.0 (build 21812.5.0.50), SOOO I think I may have an older rom somehow. I will redownload and flash.

I upped 6.1 on the 17th. So if you got it 4 days ago then you probably have 6.0. :D

You need to edit or replace the StartMenu_GridScene_240x400.cpr and StartMenu_GridScene_400x240.cpr. Probably the easiest thing to do is just replace with the old versions. You will need Resco Explorer or Total Commander to do this.

Okay well I've just flashed to your new version, and in the meantime have taken a look at the cpr files, but while I can figure out what I need to change, I just don't know what values I need to go with.

well after quickly going through changing settings, I have noticed I cannot play my ringtone, one I always used. The last ROM I used was your v5, and never had this problem. If I go into the files I try and play it from explorer and I get an error saying not enough memory to play the file. It's a .mid file less than 500kB, so kind of strange, especially since I had never had this problem before.

.mid files is something I have had an issue with. Ones that are cooked in seem to work fine but those that are used later don't work for some reason I have not yet figured out. Adrynalyne had issues also but his fix did not work on my ROM. So I am still trying to get it figured out. I didn't worry about it to much earlier as I don't use them and no one had complained about it. I will see if I can figure it out. Please post your mid file.

I just double checked on my phone. Tried from both a cell and a landline and the images showed as they should.
