I get no notification when set to "as items arrive" no sound notification and no onscreen display.. they are both turned on of course for new email..  are you getting notifications? 

my message counter will go up in number.. however no sounds or onscreen... "you have # new emails" with hotmail only.. works fine with gmail and yahoo

I take that back.. yahoo will not give an onscreen display notification or sound notification either... it locks up the main screen and in the taskbar says messaging by the start button and you cannot do anything until you tap your screen

Ok i got it to work.. however when you go under notifications-new email- and check display message on screen.. it will not work.. its only working for me if "display message on screen" is NOT checked... blazing anything mapped to that feature that you know of??? It is only doing it if there is only 1 email in the box.. as soon as I recieve a 2nd email i get all notification... if the count is 0 and goes to one... my today screen locks up until i tap the screen and i get no sound notification.. If i let it sit there and get a 2nd email the counter goes from 1 to 2, i get sound notification and "hotmail.. you have 2 unread email messages"

Its like the 0 to 1 counter is trying to open the entire messages program so you have to X (close) the program to unlock the screen even though the program is not appearing except in taskbar.. then once you close the messages app... as soon as you get another email you have all notifications..  its like the 0 to 1 up counter is trying to open the wrong dialog its trying to open a program???

.mid files is something I have had an issue with. Ones that are cooked in seem to work fine but those that are used later don't work for some reason I have not yet figured out. Adrynalyne had issues also but his fix did not work on my ROM. So I am still trying to get it figured out. I didn't worry about it to much earlier as I don't use them and no one had complained about it. I will see if I can figure it out. Please post your mid file.

Well for some reason, I found out it was a .mid file that was originally a .mp3 file. On my old phone (Glyde) I always simply renamed the ringtones I made, as mp3 files, to .mid files and they worked. I've been using that same ringtone file on my Omnia, and the file always played in Windows Media Player on the phone and worked. The new version it wouldn't automatically load up into WMP and gave me "not enough memory" to play. Copied the original mp3 over to the phone and it works flawlessly again as a ringtone.

If you still want the .mid file to play around with the issue, let me know, but it was always an mp3 file simply renamed as a .mid file. Windows and phones always played it just fine. The new sys may not have played nicely with renaming file types.

Other than that, do you happen to have old startmenu_gridscene files, or the original settings to plug into the cpr files? I'd appreciate it greatly, would rather have the bigger icons of 3 across without the underlying grid pattern (though with the glow).

Well, that could certainly cause the issue. Renaming files can mess up the file sometimes. I will look in to it a little more though.

Here are the original cpr start menu files. Use Resco Explorer or Total Commander to overwrite the existing ones in the Windows folder.

oh no problem.. i was just wondering if it was just my phone.. wondering if anyone else had the same problem...  was just trying to give you some insight to the problem... Its like messaging the complete program is auto opening when you get that first email message and blocking all of the notifications.. then once you X and close messaging.. it works great... 

I am going into start-settings-sounds and notifications-go over to notifications tab.. drop down to "messaging New e-mail and there is the tab to check/uncheck for display message on screen..

I am trying to change from the beach ball logo to the normal windows wait logo....where do I copy the .dll file to? I tried to copy it to the windows folder and soft reset but did not work. Is it supposed to go to a special folder or anywhere in the My_device\windows folder? I posted this on Lisbian's thread but have not heard from anyone in several hours so I thought I would try here :D

The theme maker was removed, the icon is still there but the program isnt. There are a few preset themes if you go to settings/today

I LOVE your 21812 v6.1 rom dialer skin theme. The dark red color when touched is very responsive, big (thumb-friendly) buttons with awesome brushed steel-like effect ... AWESOME!!! Is there anyway to get a cab for that? I would totally appreciate it :D I am also super looking forward to your 21815 release ... I'm just expecting it to be the best ;)

I was never able to find a cab for those buttons but a friend sent me a folder containing the buttons. He found them on xda forums or ppcgeeks (can't remember) you need to place then buttons files on your storage and then use total commander or something simmilar and copy them to you windows directory. I would post the folder here with the buttons but I am not sure if thats allowed. I'll check and if it is I'll upload them.

BlazingWolf: I think I am going to try your ROM - it looks like it has the newest SYS files with it. But a few questions before I start:

• Does your ROM include MS Voice Command (as on the original ROM)? If not, where can I get it?
  
• As odd as it sounds, I really like the original Omnia Phone Dialer. Does your ROM include that? Or can I get an install for the original dialer somewhere?
  
• What about the FM Radio? Is that software still on your ROM?
  
• Although most of the original Omnia software is junk (and takes up way too much space), some of it is useful... If I am missing something I like, are there cab files somewhere to reisntall it? (such as the DIVX stuff, the clock, media player, phonebook, etc) And if so do they work on 6.5?
  
• Finally... Again, as odd as it sounds, I REALLY like the original 6.5 Titianium display. I know you have somewhat changed the look of the original Titianium screen - but if I want to get back to the 'original' Titanium theme, is there something I can do or download to do so?
