Hey BW,

I LOVE your 21812 v6.1 rom dialer skin theme. The dark red color when touched is very responsive, big (thumb-friendly) buttons with awesome brushed steel-like effect ... AWESOME!!! Is there anyway to get a cab for that? I would totally appreciate it :D I am also super looking forward to your 21815 release ... I'm just expecting it to be the best :D

BlazingWolf: I think I am going to try your ROM - it looks like it has the newest SYS files with it. But a few questions before I start:

• Does your ROM include MS Voice Command (as on the original ROM)? If not, where can I get it?
  
• As odd as it sounds, I really like the original Omnia Phone Dialer. Does your ROM include that? Or can I get an install for the original dialer somewhere?
  
• What about the FM Radio? Is that software still on your ROM?
  
• Although most of the original Omnia software is junk (and takes up way too much space), some of it is useful... If I am missing something I like, are there cab files somewhere to reisntall it? (such as the DIVX stuff, the clock, media player, phonebook, etc) And if so do they work on 6.5?
  
• Finally... Again, as odd as it sounds, I REALLY like the original 6.5 Titianium display. I know you have somewhat changed the look of the original Titianium screen - but if I want to get back to the 'original' Titanium theme, is there something I can do or download to do so?

BTW, do you know which message # you posted the cab for the original Titanium display? There are a huge amount of threads here and since I don't know the filename it would be a pain to search through the entire set!

I've got a question, does this mod fix any of the volume issues with the i910? What about microphone issues? Ever since I bought mine everyone I talk to says they can barely hear me.

Well, I can't help if you don't talk loud enough ;) but the ROM does have some settings to make everything louder. :D

Thank you sooo much. Everyone seems to like that black dialer skin a lot, but i'm just not feeling it as much, i guess. Anyway, this is great! And so is all the work you and the other chefs have been putting out! Straight out the box this phone was only ok, now, it's full potential has been practically been unleased ... This is all great stuff! Thank you again!

EDIT: Cool dialer cab, did not seem to work ... I installed to my device, phone restarted, still black dialer skin ... soft reset, and still the same black dialer skin. Did I miss something. Not do something right, or do i still need to do another step of some kind. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

You need to enable it. This is a skin for the Samsung dialer and not the WM dialer. You can use Advanced Config to do this. Which ROM are you using?

Anyone having difficulty with the sounds on the phone since v6.1? I have noticed that recently about halfway through the day I have to soft reset to get the sound back up to normal. It does not seem to affect the in call sound, only the alert sounds and the ringtones. I can't find any programs that I installed that would be causing this to occur.

Hmmmmm... I did perform the tweak to SoundTester to get more volume out of the speaker. I wonder if that is what is causing it?

I went to Windows/SoundTester and went to Handset. when in the application, selected cancel from the menu option(the numbers change) then changed spk (2) to 0db and selected apply. Exit out and the sound is greater (I think). I have been doing this to all the ROMs and not had this problem.

First, is the latest version posted on page one (1) based on WinMO 6.1 or 6.5? I'm assuming 6.1 based on the BIN file name...

The reason I ask is because I have read where some people are talking 6.5 and some are talking 6.1. I'm just curious is all...

I also would like to know what is reallly different with the "Original BW Titanium.CAB" versions... Sorry in advance for my apparent ignorance...

I just flashed to bgill55's 21815 rom v2.4 yesterday ... curious to see what the new 21815 is all about (quicker, etc).

I was wondering also ...

1) How can I change the color that "lights up" the hexagons in the new start menu (i tried to d/l what i thought would do this, but it only changed the color of the titanium selection bar thing that slides up and down on main titanium menu) I would love to make it that cool-ass dark red color from your R&R roms! ..or like a standard whitish color hexagon outline, like the one that's actually on your most recent froms on the start/main menu

and2) it's really easy to get that colored battery line at the top of the screen? just d/l a batti2.4 cab or something like that? Anyway, I like that whole thing a lot and can prob figure it out (installing cabs usually VERY easy) but i wouldn't might a little assistance, if it's no trouble ... but i can go look myself, too.

- most of these prob won't be an issue once your 21815 rom is finished, which i assume is shortly.

I am fairly certain I saw on this forum somewhere that someone had posted links to the default ring tones that were included with the SCH-i910. Call me wierd, but I really did like the defaut Verizon ring tone.

I would really like to be able to use it with BW's new ROM, can anyone point me in the right direction??? Thanks in advance!

I went ahead and flashed to your v6.1 ROM. Worked pretty good and fast, till:

• All of a sudden, Titanium will no longer come up - I have to go to Today, turn it off, then turn it back on.
  
• Also, all of my newly installed app icons are showing up as blank icons (i.e. the WM basic blank icon) in the start list. They seem to work, but they just are not showing the icon.
  
  • When you do Info (in Settings) the ROM version is N/A - is that normal? How can one tell which version we are on?
    
  • I use a different task manager rather than the HTC one. Can I just turn it off in Settings and install my new one?
    
  • The initial alignment and sensitivity are really screwy for me. They are way off. Anything special you did? And can I just realign to get it to work better? What about sensitivity?
    
  • Before I hard reset, I noticed there were times when my Sandisk 8GB micro SD card simply vanished from the file explorer display. Did you put in 'tweaks' for the SD card? Could that be an issue? If so, any way to turn them off.
    

  I'll reinstall stuff tomorrow and let you know what I find.

It sounds like something you have installed is not agreeing with the ROM. If you figure it out let me know.

Wolf, the only thing I remember installing before this happened was that I turned on the Titanium Opera panel and had it import my Opera links (which never appeared in the panel). It could have been happening before that but that is what I remember doing specifically before noticing it.

I did a realign and that did seem to help a bit. Still seems a bit off though. And I haven't seen anything else goofy with the SD card.

I'll reinstall my apps this morning and see what happens. In the meantime I will avoid the Opera panel till someone else gives it a shot.
