Guest blazingwolf Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Soooo....I am still trying to change the power on screen to my own .gif file but total commander will not let me delete or move the original ANI_POWERON file. I have tried to uncheck the "read only" box in properties but it won't even let me do that. What am I doing wrong? Yeah, the file is in the ROM so you will not be able to delete it. The idea here is to just overwrite it. Just just copy and paste your new one and if it asks about overwriting a ROM file tell it yes.
Guest blazingwolf Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Blazing, once again very nice work. have not seen the keyboard issue i was seeing before, but if i do i'll let you know. And the gps quick position program, nice add-on 7 sats in under a minute in a hotel room, with IGo 8, very nice. Enjoy the PEPSI. Thank you very much. I appreciate it. ;) I have looked around about the keyboard issue and it seems to be a problem with the CC20 keyboard. I will see about including another keyboard in a future version.

Guest blazingwolf Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Or you can rename the old file, then move the new one in ;) You don't need to do this step at all. Since the file is in the ROM you can overwrite it and then if you don't want it anymore delete the changed file. This will leave the existing file from the ROM. :D
Guest Astrall Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 BW, I updated to your newest last night. The only issue I've noticed, and this is most likely isolated to me, is that my battery indicator is not moving down off of 100%. Any ideas? Should I find the cab somewhere and reinstall it?
Guest c~style Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 I have a question, I flashed your Rom this morning. I really like the over all layout. I was getting a little frustrated because I could not access any of my applications. I did a little reading in this thread and see that there should be a honey comb menu when I hit the "start" icon. When I push the start menu it switches to a screen that has one honey comb icon, "Today" and nothing else. Do I need to do something different?

This ROM uses the 20% battery driver. So until it drops to 80% it will say 100%. If you want to use the 1% or 5% driver you can get them from the kabkab driver thread that is stickied in the main forum.

I didn't notice any additional battery drain. Thanks,

Thanks, Because I noticed a drain and it is simple to install the 1% or 5% driver in replace of this one. However, you can not install the 20% over the 1% or 5% battery driver. I had the same problem when I flashed to the latest version. Just do a soft reset and all your applications should show up in the menu. I think I must have pushed something while waiting for the initial config to run but everything is great now.

And it won't let me rename it or delete it either. I am at a loss. Also, I am using My Mobile to do all these changes. Will that affect things? ****EDIT Nevermind......figured it out. Guest chubbyboy88 Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Whats the average battery life you have been getting with this rom? I'm trying to figure out is my battery losing its chrage faster or is the roms just burning up more enrgy than usual
Guest blazingwolf Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Sweet that worked and a very simple solution. I should have thought of that. Yeah. A soft reset is always the first thing to try. I apologize for not seeing your post and answering earlier.

I'm trying to figure out is my battery losing its chrage faster or is the roms just burning up more enrgy than usual A lot will depend on your usage of the phone. I can usually get about a day and a half to two days with the 20% battery driver.
Guest flnfrmn Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 So what got it working for you? Using total commander properly ;) I used the copy/move route and worked great. Before, I was just trying to copy and paste from desktop to my device with my mobile program.

Guest mnstrchmst Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 Ok, I'm a new rom burning junkie. I love the environment you've cooked up BW. I've kinda learned how to configure most of the stuff by fiddling with the various options along with knowing the windows file structure (blah blah blah...) How the hell do you configure titaniumRADAR? I've tried to manually substitute my city and state in the in accuweather URL line and it doesn't work. It still has Crawford, TX in the radar map. What am I doing wrong? Tanx, Mnstrchmst
Guest flnfrmn Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 BW (or anyone else who may have it)....do you have a .cab file of the phone dial pad you used for your latest update. I kinda screwed mine up playing with it and I need to replace it. Thanks in advance!

What am I doing wrong? Tanx, Mnstrchmst Two ways to do this. 1. Open the weather radar so you see the radar. Tap and hold and when you see the popup tap Edit URL. 2. From the panel tap on the right soft key which is menu. Choose option 4 Radar setup and then OK. Remove the URLs you see and replace with the ones you want.
