Guest DamianDouglas Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 Thanks....Holy cow it must be late cause that was a no-brainer answer ;)Good Morning...I'm new also and I love all the ROM's I've used from you, BW. I also have a question and this will show you just how new I am. Where do I find the URL that I need to insert in Radar for set up? I tried to change the name "Crawford" and "TX" to Wayne, New Jersey but that doesn't seem to work. Thanks for your help.

Go to the radar page and right click on the image. This will give you a website address. Copy and paste the URL in to the radar section of TitaniumWeather. Not all images will work so it might take a try or two.
Guest Lisbian08 Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 Love the new ROM. I especially like the XDA_UC folder for the apps. That is so convenient for those of us who flash there phone on a regular basis. (5 times this week...lol) ONe question though. Is there any way to configure where the apps get installed. They are automatically going to my device, which is not optimal.

I will keep trying though as it would help me also. ;) Glad you like the ROM. :D

It's on your screenshots on the first post too...What is it? Can i get rid of it? oops. ok i found it. It's Batti. Hmm I' tried to make the display bar zero but it wont let me. I dont really like the bar being up there. how could I uninstall this since it doesnt come up in programs? Ok nevermind again haha. Just killed it in task man. I'll delete it in startup as well. But still can this be completely unsinstalled? i just don't prefer it is all. Thanks. Edited July 2, 2009 by semmtexx

If so then there are separate panel already fro email and text messages. Just enable them in CHome Editor. If you want to do just the icons then that can be done also. Look for icons that start with CHome and end with active or inactive.

It's very small though so even when not used it doesn't take up much space. ;)

I use it quite a bit because I flash roms often. Edited July 2, 2009 by dmcnado

Guest jaycarl Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 Hey Blazingwolf, love how you put skyfire in the rom. Recently it seems like skyfire is taking along time to connect even with a strong signal. I would like to uninstall it and reinstall to see if that might help. Where can I download the latest version? BTW Thanks for doing what Verizon promises.
Guest semmtexx Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 Hmm I like the rom so far but I wish you had put in that cool round samsung volume thing instead of the little popup winmo slide bars for volume. Is there a cab anywhere?

There is an update that just cam out that you can install over the current one. ;)

Guest explosivo5000 Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 First off, thanks to blazingwolf and all the helpful folks on this site for all of their hard work. Before stumbling on this site I didn't know anything about flashing or roms or anything like that, but your straightfoward instructions and all your help made it possible for a complete noob like me to update my omnia with no problems whatsoever. This rom is awesome and it feels like I have a new, vastly upgraded phone. I have two questions. First, a general question about reflashing my phone when you release updates to your rom. I see that a lot of people on this board flash roms quite often. I imagine that having to reset all of your settings, re-import your contacts (not that hard, but still) and re-install your programs (google maps, chess pro, etc) each time you flash would get tiresome. Is there an easy way to do this? Second, I'm having an issue with the ring volume. I turn the ringer volume down as low as it will go, and when I play samples of the rings from the settings menu the volume appears to be low, but when a phone actually comes in the ring is always at the maximum. I can't figure out if there's another volume setting somewhere that I'm missing, or what the problem is. Sorry if these have been addressed elsewhere, I looked around a bit and couldn't find an answer. Thanks again!
