hey blazingwolf just a quick question. omnia 2 is expected this month. will u bee cooking rom for it?

I would love to but it doesn't look like I will be able to get one if it comes out next month. I don't have enough money for it.

Dont know if anyone else has seen this, but Blaze, if you could integrate this you would be my hero for life! It seems someone over at XDA has figured out the OTA updates, and is able to push the updates to those with his ROM. Any chance of getting this with a Wolf ROM?

I've read about it. It would be real nice. They are still in the infancy stages though. It will take a little while before this becomes usable by every device.

You need to format your My Storage area. It has become corrupt and is the cause of this issue.

I presume that I will need to reload the ROM if I do the reformat on My Storage. Right?

No. It only removes programs from the My Storage area. The two are not linked.

Again, the two areas are not linked. So you do not need to reflash or hard reset.

Set up your device to use My Storage as mass storage. Use your PC to format the area.

I have a question about updating to the latest rom though, do I need to load the CC20v10 rom before I update or does that need to be done only the first time you flash from the original VZW rom?

Once you flash the CC20 ROM the first time you never need to flash it again. We get the important parts from the first flash, Radio, Customer_CSC, etc.

I think we're in for a bit of a surprise when the Omnia II is released. I'm expecting around $250, as opposed to the $400-$500 some people have thrown around.. They only cost $45 to make ;)

Thanks. This is definitely the best one yet. I really like the auto-install deal. Haven't had any problems so far except Media Player froze my phone when i tried to browse my empty Library. I forgot to refresh the library before I tried going into "All music" and it turned the music icon black and completely froze my phone. Could've been a fluke, and it isn't exactly a big deal, but I wanted to let you know. Thanks again.

Sure, with new every two. I bought my Omnia in February so I won't see new every two for quite awhile. I seriously doubt Verizon will sell retail for less then $500 to $600.

Where do you get the $45 from? Probably closer to $145.

im lovin the new gps quick position app included, i still cant get satalites from indoors as some reported but once outside locks up right away! I installed SPB shell after flashing the last two roms you've released (my first rom flashes), and i've noticed performance has been somewhat hindered.. Maybe i should expect this bc of all the apps included? But my phone does continue to lock up at times when it seems like I'm not even running anything more than spb shell, messaging, and active sync (which seems to always be running). Any advice? A soft reset usually does help but its a problem I'm experiencing each day, and is becoming a nuisance :/

Which version of MS are you using? Are you disabling the today screen apps when running it? Does this happen with out mobile shell?

Not to take away from BW's ROM or anything like that, but have you tried another ROM? I use Adryn's lite ROM since I use MS3 and don't use Titanium at all, nor do I use most of the apps that everyone includes in their ROMs.

You might want to consider going that route just for the extra space, less clutter, etc. The only drawback is that Lite ROMs don't seem to be updated nearly as frequently as the ones that the cooks actually use themselves..

I believe build 21000 is the Retail build. So what we have now is newer than what phones will have that are released with WinMo 6.5 ;)

And yes, the marketplace that comes in BW's ROM will work once its activated by M$

You can still use Spb Backup if you prefer. XDA_UC is a way to do this without purchasing other software. It also is clean installing every time so that changes I make are not changed if you restore your last back up completely.

I will put Market place back in when it is actually working but right now it doesn't do anything but take up space.
