Just a quick note to others that may be experiencing issues with M$ My Phone backups. There is an issue currently that is not allowing you to restore yourtext/contact information and is hit or miss, this is a M$ server side issue and has nothing to due with BW's ROM. And once again job well done on another great version!

The next time you get the popup try leaving the user name and password blank. Put a check mark in save password.

Also, is your username showing the correct number?

Without activesync internet has problem, with activesync internet is ok. I am not sure why...

well.... now I have an internet connection. Hmm it's weird ;)

I found an issue, but I don't know if it's just me or not. After sending a text message (even does it if I just go to view the conversation and close out) my phone hangs (or seems to) when I try to 'X' out of the threaded conversation screen. Clicking on the start menu icon or the 'X' in the upper right corner seems to do nothing, none of the hard keys seem to do anything, except pushing the 'call end' hard button makes the standard noise, and the power button on top will shut the screen off, but thats it. Then after about 2-5 minutes, it executes all of the button presses I did while it was frozen, closes out the conversation and text summary window and goes back to normal. Soft reset makes no change. Different keyboards make no change. Email seems to be acting normal when I close it out.

Also, my CHome seems to be broken. I'm guessing its the program itself and not the rom, but just thought i would throw it out there. My welcome center and clock don't seem to work properly. They did before, but not now. A blank icon is in it's place and it displays no info. If I click on the blank icon, it brings up my alarm clock settings. When I scroll to a different item, it displays ""Favorites" at the top of all of them, I have attached a couple screenshots of what I mean. Disabling the panel and re-enabling it doesn't help, nor does soft reset. Thanks for any help!

hey BW, any suggestions on an alternate contact program I could use in your ROM? I had previously been a fan of SPB Contacts in SPB MS2, just something with a nicer cleaner interface? Is it easy to make all the Today links point to the new program?

You should be able to use anything out there. Icontacts or PocketCM are a couple I have used in the past.

Now for the question. I am missing the Outlook icon in message center. I read this entire thread yesterday and I swear I remeber you referencing a fix, a cab maybe ? I am stepping bck through post but have been unable to locate the exact post / file. If you could just point me in the right direction > ( Or tell me I was too drunk and there is no fix at all.)

I have the same problem with the messaging, exactly as the other guy described it. It seems to happen mostly on large "conversations" and only sometimes. Its impossible for me recreate it as it just randomly decides to be a dick. I've had this problem since Wozzer's very first 6.5 ROM and, seeing it continue with BWs (I'm on 9 now, btw), I just assumed it was an inherent problem with 6.5.

I am using version 9. I downloaded it last night.

When I say broken, I meant with the issues I am having. Clock does not display, the word favorites shows on all my icons when I scroll to them,

I don't have the favorites panel enabled on my Chome, but that heading shows up when I scroll to any other icon in chome. When I am selected on the clock icon, it is just a blank icon and nothing shows, but I have "set" available" as a softkey. I wondered why welcome center didn't seem to do anything...it wasn't there, lol!

Only things I have installed since flashing to your newest rom is Exidler Fingerkeyboard and I installed the Samsung clock from this thread this morning. I wonder if that clock fubared my clock on Chome? I tried uninstalling the Samsung clock, but it didnt fix anything. The messaging issue was happening last night before I installed the Samsung Clock. As I was typing this I had a thought....I am using Pimbackup to replace all of my messages and call history after each flash....maybe something in the restore process is causing my text messaging to fall on itself? I tried deleting all conversations that were restored from Pimbackup, but it still froze up. Maybe I should do a fresh flash tonight with your rom and check things again? Or maybe a hard reset? Like I said I don't much installed so it wont take any time at all to be up and running again.

I have a similar problem. I tried to manually re-initialize using **772 and 000000 to re-enter NAM, etc., but apparently that is just for voice and not data. Verizon tech support (2nd level) advised me that data service cannot be manually re-initialized, and that one must find an actual Verizon cell tower and do automatic re-initialization using *228<send>. Unfortunately, the roaming indicator isn't the final word, so I've tried *228 without any success yet. I guess I might need to make a road trip.

This correction may not be necessary but. I was misspeaking earlier. What I am in reference to is actuall CHhome and not the message center. I believe this is also know as notifications. I have a red x where the outlook icon should be.

Hmm, well if you can find a way to recreate it I would appreciate it (I understand it isn't easy). I will keep playing on my side to see if I can make it happen. How large of a text message on the ones you have noticed? Is it one message that hits the 160 character limit and is broken up?
