I am using version 9. I downloaded it last night.

When I say broken, I meant with the issues I am having. Clock does not display, the word favorites shows on all my icons when I scroll to them,

I don't have the favorites panel enabled on my Chome, but that heading shows up when I scroll to any other icon in chome. When I am selected on the clock icon, it is just a blank icon and nothing shows, but I have "set" available" as a softkey. I wondered why welcome center didn't seem to do anything...it wasn't there, lol!

Only things I have installed since flashing to your newest rom is Exidler Fingerkeyboard and I installed the Samsung clock from this thread this morning. I wonder if that clock fubared my clock on Chome? I tried uninstalling the Samsung clock, but it didnt fix anything. The messaging issue was happening last night before I installed the Samsung Clock. As I was typing this I had a thought....I am using Pimbackup to replace all of my messages and call history after each flash....maybe something in the restore process is causing my text messaging to fall on itself? I tried deleting all conversations that were restored from Pimbackup, but it still froze up. Maybe I should do a fresh flash tonight with your rom and check things again? Or maybe a hard reset? Like I said I don't much installed so it wont take any time at all to be up and running again.

Wow, a plethora of issues then. Please try a restore without PIM backup and see what happens. This program was written quite awhile ago so it may be having issues with 6.5. The two other programs you mentioned should not be an issue.

Something has corrupted your Titanium plugin. How or why I'm not sure yet. I just enabled the WelcomeCenter panel on my device and it doesn't show but it doesn't break anything either.

So let's see where a restore gets you and if there is still problems we will go from there. Sorry for the troubles you are having. ;)

I have a similar problem. I tried to manually re-initialize using **772 and 000000 to re-enter NAM, etc., but apparently that is just for voice and not data. Verizon tech support (2nd level) advised me that data service cannot be manually re-initialized, and that one must find an actual Verizon cell tower and do automatic re-initialization using *228<send>. Unfortunately, the roaming indicator isn't the final word, so I've tried *228 without any success yet. I guess I might need to make a road trip.

So, you can't connect to data? Are you getting the poup asking for the username and password? You might need to have Verizon shut your data down and then reinitialize it on their end (there is a name for this but I am brain farting and can't remember what it is called). This has helped several people.

This correction may not be necessary but. I was misspeaking earlier. What I am in reference to is actuall CHhome and not the message center. I believe this is also know as notifications. I have a red x where the outlook icon should be.

It should look like this image. As you can see it is working on mine. Made any changes that might have affected it?

So, you can't connect to data? Are you getting the poup asking for the username and password? You might need to have Verizon shut your data down and then reinitialize it on their end (there is a name for this but I am brain farting and can't remember what it is called). This has helped several people.

Its like logging into a computer server from your computer and suddenly turning off the power to your computer and the server still thinking you are logged into it, so when you try to log back in it gives you an error because it thinks you are still there. You have to get them to reset your data connection if that is the case; however, i don't think that 772 is the right data number, mine is different than that. I don't know if everyone uses the same data number, although it seems like they would. Previously, I used SPB phone suite which worked well, but I can't use it when using Chome. I need something that will let me know when I haved missed calls/texts instead of having to check my phone all of the time.

Apparently Im a little confused too, lol. I got to looking at the settings and realized I could disable the today plugin and it still works just fine. D'oh, i was just so used to the today plugin I didn't realize it would work without it. All is good now. Thanks for the help! Your ROM rocks!

Hmm, well if you can find a way to recreate it I would appreciate it (I understand it isn't easy). I will keep playing on my side to see if I can make it happen. How large of a text message on the ones you have noticed? Is it one message that hits the 160 character limit and is broken up?

Well I use conversation mode, and I text A LOT with a few people. Hundreds or thousands of texts probably in the larger ones before the freezing happens too often (or at least seems to become more frequent) and I decide to delete the conversation and start over. But yeah, there are texts I send that are over 160 and broken texts I receive that began as over 160 mixed in. It hasn't happened yet with version 9 because its only been a day and I haven't text all that much yet. I'll probably find out in a day or so if its still going on and be able to try harder to figure out what exactly triggers it.

On a related note, maybe i'm retarded and didn't see this, but is there a way to keep only X number of texts per conversation? I think that would alleviate this problem for sure. I never go back more than a few pages worth of texts anyway, and some kind of automatic cleanup thing might be nice. Like how the deleted items seems to only keep 50 texts at a time (I can delete a conversation and watch them fill in and then decrease and stay at 50 as they're pushed in and deleted). Thanks!

Wow, if you text that much then there might be no fix for that. ;)

I don't know of a way to do what you want but maybe someone else does.

I experience the same issue that you're having. It seems the phone just can't handle storing so many SMS messages. I send/receive about 3-400 texts per day - the only way I can remedy the issue is by using the "Clear Text Messages" under SMS options, tools. It only takes a second and speeds up the phone a ton. I've noticed that once I have more than about 70-80 SMS messages piled up that the phone gradually slows down as the message amount increases. Its annoying, but at least for me isn't exclusive to WM6.5- it happened to me on the OEM Verizon Rom as well (And also on my previous RAZR v3c, v9m, and XV6700) The way I look at it most Verizon phones don't let you store more than 50 SMS messages at a time so its not really not a big deal.

Ok first time poster long time user BW. First off love your roms and appreciate your hard work. Kind of a noobish question I'm sure. The picture you posted of your today screen, was wondering how to make my taskbar look like that and is that background of the dragon included in the rom and I just have not run across it yet?

Right now my taskbar just displays the standard EV, Signal Meter, Speaker, and Battery symbol.

Blazing Wolf, I want to commend you on what a great ROM you have cooked up here. I first tried Wozzer's and it was too buggy for me. Then I tried Adrynal's and I had to keep hard resetting for various reasons. If all goes well over the next two weeks, let me get your paypal ID cause I would like to donate for your hard work.

A couple things:

With Titanium I use (and I am sure others also) Facebook, volume control, comm manager, and system panels. Is their a way to make these panels look like the other panels you have for your Titanium? They just look boring compared to what you have your panels looking like.

I used to use MS3 to improve the usability of the phone and one feature I like was how it can go on facebook and grab a picture for my contacts? Is their a program out there that can do the same thing?

I've noticed that once I have more than about 70-80 SMS messages piled up that the phone gradually slows down as the message amount increases. Glad you like my ROM. I'm not a Facebook user so I'm not going to be much help here. You can use MS3 on my ROM so if you like it then there is no reason to stop. ;)

There are still panels that have not made it to the Neo theme yet. I will get to more of them as time goes on. Since I don't use Facebook I don't really have any plans to do that one.

I also had a problem with the conversation length with the original ROM. Mine got so big it would not allow me to send any texts out of my phone but I could receive texts. Every single text I sent I got the notification that the text could not be received. I don't have the problem any more because I no longer have a gf and I reflash my phone often enough to not have to worry about them getting that big. I think this is a design flaw in the Omnia and unless someone creates a program to manage the text messaging inbox size then we just have to find other ways to deal.
