are there IRDA and IRDA_Lang_0409 in the SYS directory?

just IRDA_Lang_0409 for 23016 and non for 23007. I used IRDA_Lang_0409 from 23001 and replace IRDA_Lang_0415. 23007 didnt come with IRDA_Lang_0409, do i need to put theme in?

[btw, i got SYS & XIP 23007_lang_409 and 23016_lang_415]

Hi, can I ask o6.5ROM in CZ (MUI 0405)? It was already zápasím month, but I am not able to put together. Just to try and can not attempt to form - a mistake. Thank you for the willingness, Milan

hahah my mistake. thanks Stefano92 for reminding :) . BTW do you know where to change reg setting? in rgu in OEM_lang_* or in OEMApps? seems rgu in OEMApps value is overwritten by OEM_lang_0409 ;)

Thanks for your great work. Would you mind posting a tutorial step by step how to port XIP? I'm using DXID1 (now translated into German) but I'd like to use BHIC2, but as I can't port, i don't know how to do that.

@ magi1984: I'm having the same problems with camera. Does it work in sectors rom?

I don't write a tutorial, because my english is bad :/.

Camera use Emuzed Codecs. Extract zip archive and put all files to \Windows folder.

Thanks. Can i cook these codecs to my rom too? By just replacing them with the original files? And i've got here two files EmzAVISource.dll.0409.mui and EmzAVISource.dll.0415.mui. But as I've got a german rom i think i would need EmzAVISource.dll.0407.mui.

Hm.. I don't think that your English is that bad. Maybe you could do a tutorial with screenshots? than it would be easier.. If you don't mind doing it.

This files are in oryginal ROM. If I deleted this files, video camera doesn't start (phone crash, help only soft reset). Maybe you don't have any other .dll library?

If you cook rom, this files are OEM/OEMApps folder.

EDIT: I've got another question:

If I wanna change the link to the SMS programm: f.e: SMS Chat

I go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\CHome\CText]

"GUID"="{72233649-3771-4770-B02F-129750B7AE6B}"

"DisablePageCounter"=dword:0

But what do I write in "GUID"? Or can I replace "GUID" with a different command? And if so what?

Yes, you should keep 0407 mui files. But you have Emz files, replacing this files don't fix camera problem :/.

Link to SMS chat is in \Windows\tmailsms.ink

I don't known how change this in titanium. I can change only start menu.

In start menu: edit OEM\OEM_Lang_xxxx\initflashfiles.dat and SYS\Base_Lang_xxxx\mxipinit_startmenu_001.provxml files.

In SYS\Base_Lang_xxxx\mxipinit_startmenu_001.provxml file are names. Set this names in OEM\OEM_Lang_xxxx\initflashfiles.dat file.

Change the xip with another one,i solved the bug of camera using xip for 23006....

BTW: I'm porting SYS for 21936 and 23016 at the moment. And what I remarked is, that there is no folder Redist_dpi_96_resh_240_resv_400 in the kitchen.

I took now the one from 23007. Is that correct, or is it on purpose that there is no Redist_dpi_96_resh_240_resv_400 folder?

Hmm. did anyone try the 21935 with DXID1?

Because I get an error when building my pda.bin:

3346da5d-3675-4a67-925e-75f623184bda.dsm already exists.

I've the second file in the XIP directory. Is this xip maybe only for 415 roms?

Good work bro...I may post a tutorial on how to port XIP, as a lot of people seem to be trying to port these days.

Seen as i am also quitting the cooking game for a while, i need to pass on as many things as possible.

If lucasz, post a guide, then that is fine, but i think it needs to be added to the first post when it does.

I've just another small question:

I want to use the large Start Menu with the bigger icons.

But the Samsung Application Icons are very pixelated. So i created some Icons on my own.

I now that I could change now the icons in the exe files, but it must work too with the mxipinit_startmenu_001.provxml in Base_Lang_****

So now to my question:

Will it work if I add the entry:

or do I have to add a parm name="Rank" value="************" datatype="integer" /> ?

And if so where do I get those values from?

On top of the document there is the line: characteristic type="HKLM\Security\Shell\StartInfo\Start">

but I can't find values for samsung apps there.
