Many greetings gunna You have to edit the boot.rgu in ROM/XIP folder and put your mui's number as value for [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\MUI] and [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\MUI] Don' t forget to apply the read only and system properties after modifying the file Edited June 14, 2009 by pepech

I have the values in the.rgu file changed, and restored the read-only. 0409---> 0407 But still it remains at the Startbilschirm slopes. Greeting
Guest DominikZ Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Did you write 0407 or 407? as far as I remember it should say 407. And I guess the Xip.bin sector provided does not work with german ROMs, you have to port it yourself.. Tried it myself many times. Though not with the new SYS/XIP. As soon as I get my phone back I will report if it works.

Just download it and delete all the unnecessary files.
Guest pepech Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 (edited) You don't have to port the SYS in your link, as it says there: all DPI.. Just download it and delete all the unnecessary files. The Da-G' s thread provides you XIP and SYS that you have to port to Omnia to fit its exotic resolution: it means that : 1)in the SYS : you have to replace some dlls with Omnia stock ones , to edit all the _240_400_DPI_..... to make them workable on Omnia : it is far away from a just " copyandpaste " 2)for the XIP : you have to port manually the XIP If you have never done this , the solution is : XDA , coffee , patience , XDA , coffee , headache , XDA , coffee , patience , headache Edited June 19, 2009 by pepech

Guest Anexia Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 (edited) hello, I do not want to challenge the formidable work sector, Da_G, and others, but the port is not easy: For the directory SYS, the procedure is relatively easy for everyone to port to the Omnia. But for the XIP, I have tried on several occasions and I have not succeeded :D . It's certainly the case for other members. I even tried this XIPKitchen, but I get an error during porting ... From my side, I have difficulty with English because I'm french, which makes me work even harder. As you know how to port the XIP, we would be very grateful if you could we share. ;) Again thank you for all the help you give us, and for the superb work done. Best regards Anexia PS: Sorry for my bad english EDIT : Good news, I think I have finally succeeded. I do tests and if everything is OK I am sharing :D It is unfortunate that I do not have the files french 040C 21815 :D Edited June 19, 2009 by Anexia

When you dump stock WM 6.1 XIP , there is an overlap with PocketFs.dll ; I think this is a reason why automated XIP kitchens don' t work as they should . I ' m quite sure of it but correct it , if I'm wrong . Edited June 20, 2009 by pepech
