Hi sector!!

Thanks for providing all the files.

I finally managed to get at least an English ROM working, using DXID1.. I will try now to create a german rom based on DXID1.

Just one question: How can I enable the new Menu and the scroll Bar? When activating Classic Blue it still shows the old scroll bar.

Additionally Active Sync won't work under Windows 7 - it says that the phone is using an old driver? which is not supported? It works fine under XP.

Thanks

BTW:

How can I create my file, that if somebody tries to extract it there will only appear the folders: BETA, make your own ROM usw.

I'm stuck on step 4:

Now we need to insert in OS.nb the new xip.bin we have ported from wm6.5 builds. Double click the Shell.cmd and enter the command: \Tools\osnbtool.exe -c OS.nb 1 xip.bin. It will create a new OS.nb.new (also mentioned in shokka tut).

When i type in the command i get "the system cannot find the path specified".. and where do i put the xip_out.bin ??

Trying to get my head round wm6.5, but it's a bit trickier than 6.1 :D

Cheers

Try typing:

easiest way is to have a CMD shortcut in your kitchen, double click it....

and just type your command....like

osnbtool -c os.nb 1 xip.bin

Enjoy

Man!! Serious respect to all the 6.5 chefs out there ;)

It's mega hard, despite the great tutorials and tools... i've managed to get a working M2D rom (Just !!!) , but it's a bit unpredictable :D

once you have a good SYS & XIP, it is easy, same as 6.1.

If you wanna start modding 6.5, then it gets hard, but generally its the same.

Maybe coz i been doing for a while now it seems kinda second nature.

Keep it up bro!! You need to fill my shoes :D

yeah, i'm gonna give it another go tomorrow... the actual porting seems ok but it's the apps that are bugging me.

I seem to be getting loads of errors where the dll or other files already exists.. but i suppose it's trial and error..

The one i DID get right is very "bloated" but i'm learning what to delete (i'm practicing on 6.1 which seems a lot more straight forward).

anyways, thanks for the support.. you've got very big boots to fill ;)

Edit: think i just got it.... :D ... Succcess!!
