If from 23071 well be better, as you said they are bit different These are the original 23071 taskbar files.Replace the cab with dll and edit the files as usually. outres.96.cab shellres.96.cab tapres.96.cab The phcanOverbmp file is used from omnia roms and has the battery icons and some other files.You dont need update for this.You see normally the battery icon comes from shellres.96 but they have edited the registry to see the phcanOverbmp for the battery.There is not such a file in new wm 6.5 systems.The battery normally as i said is read from shellres.

Isn't it? No because you must remove the registry setting they put to recognize the phcanOverbmp file. I dont know how to do it. You can change the icons in that file.The changes made by MS are not affected from this file which only contains battery volume icon etc. If i find some time i will try to see if i can revert the registry setting and how.

OK. If sign phcanOverbmp file with empty signature (without 'tools' folder) then WM will use original icons from shellres.96.dll :D

You can do the following:Delete all the icons in phcanoverbmp except battery icons. Then through registry force the system to use the phcanoverbmp again. Guest phil B Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 ive been having problems looking for a taskbar which is transparent . as this is a taskbar thread, i figured this would be the best place to post i use spb mobile shell , and s2u2 to lock my phone. when its unlocked - pic1 - the taskbar is solid black when its locked - pic2 - the taskbar is transparent. i would like the taskbar to look like pic 2 when its unlocked . is this possible ??? Thanks Maybe someone can help? I am trying to edit the shellres96 to change the pinwheel (when phone is thinking) I unsign it Edit it then resign and build the cab. Everytime I do it messes up the bottom bar with the start icon. :D Just wondering what could be doing this. I'm sure it is something simple I am doing wrong.
