First thing great Rom, M2D 28230.

Just one thing on the Today Screen where the Clock is, the Weather is not showing - just the text "Tap to update weather".

In the weather tab the weather is showing, with no problem.

Well then... Tap to update. After that press Agree if it asks you and try to refresh more than once. If after some tries it doesn't update, leave it and try again later.

i`ve found a problem in the latest rom. when i launch a game or aplication, even if i exit it by the X button, even if i exit it by end button, when i open task manager, it`s still opened.

i sometimes end up with 10 apps opened. no wonder why it slows down like hell

You have to keep the 'X' button pressed for about 2 seconds to terminate the applicaton instead of putting it in background.

Nah I fixed it. My USB port on the old PC was 1.0

So I used VMware on my laptop with a USB 2.0 port and that worked.

i installed 20.02.2010 Build 28230 . camera fonts are too big and oversized. how can i fix that pls ?

this build run really fast and smooth for me. i like it. the only one that make me anoying is that fonts.

Issues:

1. Weather in the today tab is not update automatically? Sometimes it gets update after a soft-reset.

Should i install the ..."manila wather updater with mortscript.cab" .YES/NO

i found that when update the weather in the today tab , it goes to a application called google location or something with empty screen and option agree and disagree .. what is that about?

2.Can i set the End call hard key -> to today tab ......?

3.Camera applications doesn't open ...if we take multiple shots earlier.

I was looking for a stable rom and i found it here !!!

Its soow cool and ++++ STABLE !!! I used many roms from here but always having probs with sms or anithing else ! Now everthing its stable and oke !! Thats pretty fine because I almost lost my patience! But now i am verry happy with this rom !

I used a dutc rom from BRUNOADLER but there is somthing wrong with the sms you cant selected a new sms and yea mmh i used many times !

Maybe you can translated your rom to dutch ( nederlandes ) ....? Just a question of course ! :( :(

Installed 28230 Lite version, everything is OK as usually, thank you Ryrzy for that.

But still tclock.exe creates registry entry for wakeup alarm at 9.00am.

1. Download clock (lite) from :

2. Install it, run it, click "Wake-up alarm", disable all alarms that are set to ring at 9:00.

just one question.. in your previous rom (but with M2D) there were button for outlook reminder dismiss on the toolbar but now (in latest build) its disappeared!

Try downloading again and after that extract it with something like WinRAR and it should ask you for a password. Go to the first post and get the password.

3. What is the difference between PDA, CSC versions and most generally I have read most of the topics here and wonder why firmware and ROM are separated when it comes to upgrading or installing? Isn't it something that comes in a bundle together ?

3. there is 4 parts in omnia 2 Eboot, PDA,CSC,Phone if you come from HTC device we can compare Eboot=SPL, PDA=Firmware/rom, CSC are personlisation of the windows mobile depending of language country operator.() does not exist in HTC device because you can not change the language of a rom). Phone part is still the phone firmware.

Rom/ firmware difference. normally a rom is a hardware part.Your firmware is strored inside a rom. so by extension people use rom/firmware as about the same things.
