Guest bbwolf Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 try to reinstall active synch and the samsung usb driver... and restart your pc, connect ur phone and let it connect to activesynch and and synchronize, then restart both comp and phone,, then after all this open the installer switch off the phone connect it to the usb and then switch it on again... i think this will solve the issue.. good luck NB the comp should be runing windows XP 32 bit.. this process doesn't work with vista machines>>> Ryrzy, Mike178, thankyou so much for your fast response.. tried everything and in the end found out.. i did not actually 'off' the phone before connecting... forgot I must press longer to Off the phone... hahaha.. silly me... thankyou and sorry for taking your times on such mistakes... :)

Guest shinobi_omnia Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 Hi Guys, I'm lookin for the original omnia WM6.1 ROM. I want to revert back to 6.1 so I can trade-in my 16GB Omnia and upgrade to Omnia 2. I'm from Singapore by the way. Thanks Ryrzy for the wonderful ROM.

Just go to Samsungmobile.com, Omnia page, and then to the "Upgrade Your Omnia" link. There you can download an official Singapore ROM, which will be 6.1 anyway.

Guest mario_0486 Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Hello Ryrzy, Thanks for your great Roms. I've used all your roms. It's the greatest. Could you please make a rom with built in SPB shell 3? So it can be changed M2D <-> SP3 easily ??? Thank You & Best Regards
Guest Beliar0 Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Hi, i“m new here (first post whoohoo) :) Your ROM is the first custom ROM i“ve ever flashed. Flashing worked without problems, ROM is gread too. I use the Manila 2d version... Just some things: 1. Is there a image-viewer included that allows zooming? if not: which one can do that? 2. is it possible to get more appointments shown in: a) smart lock AND ;) manila home screen ??? thats it, all the rest works perfect to me
Guest aar0n Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 (edited) 1. Is there a image-viewer included that allows zooming? if not: which one can do that? 2. is it possible to get more appointments shown in: a) smart lock AND ;) manila home screen ??? to answer your question, 1. HTC Album does that. Make a circular motion on the part you want to be zoomed. Clockwise for Zoom IN Counterclockwise for Zoom OUT 2. I don't think that's possible. try other UI's like PointUI (I'm using this and it is absolutely the best.), SPB, or WAD2. HTH :) For me, This ROM is the best so far. Very fast and stable on all programs that I use. It also has the longest battery life. to add, It locks on to Garmin Mobile XT in 10 Secs!! ;) Edited August 10, 2009 by aar0n

Thank You & Best Regards Just assign one of your hard buttons to launch Spb home then add the icon show today in lifestyle panel so you can switch back to M2D easily.
Guest shinobi_omnia Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 I'm currently using 23007. Is there any way I can change to black keyboard skin without flashing to the latest ROM?

Guest bbwolf Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Hi Guys, I'm lookin for the original omnia WM6.1 ROM. I want to revert back to 6.1 so I can trade-in my 16GB Omnia and upgrade to Omnia 2. I'm from Singapore by the way. Thanks Ryrzy for the wonderful ROM. If you are in wm6.5, flash back to wm6.1 using cooked rom first, then flash to the official rom from samsung website. the official rom will give a message incorrect version and refuse to flash wm6.5 directly to wm6.1. atleast this is what happen for my case. :)
Guest bbwolf Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Ryrzy, Mike178, thankyou so much for your fast response.. tried everything and in the end found out.. i did not actually 'off' the phone before connecting... forgot I must press longer to Off the phone... hahaha.. silly me... thankyou and sorry for taking your times on such mistakes... ;) Ryrzy, thankyou for this great great rom... gps, wifi, camera w/gps, bluetooth all working good... installed chinese and zta4 input... all working good... but i'm missing the "samsung today2", i love this interface; any chance to get this working on wm6.5? :)
Guest mkskar Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Thanx Ryrzy for a nice rom :) . Difficulty I'm having is I can't change the clock from digital to analog clock. Also is it possible to add different analog clocks. I used M2D Home xml check box for analog clock but it didn't show up. Any ideas

Guest Beliar0 Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 another very little questions: 1. is it possible to show alarms in smart lock? 2. is it possible to show tasks in smart lock? 3. is it possible to change the background of the main menu and the lock screen WITHOUT also changing the home screen wallpaper of manila? if i change the theme in "settings-today- with "use this picture as background" also the manila home screen (all others stay as i want them) changes...
Guest da.ne. Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 WOW -- Thank you so much Ryrzy. Congratulations, this is definitely the best ROM I have ever seen. I am using the Build 23016/21928 LITE and it: - is fast, stable, has everything you need and not too much you don't need (great for everyone that has some experience and wants to install their own stuff) - IT FIXES THE AUTO-KILL / AUTO-CLOSE PROBLEM!!!! Finally real multitasking is possible... YOU ARE THE HERO! Thanks a lot... definitely worth donating some money... da.ne.

Guest Beliar0 Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 i don“t know what you understand of the auto-close problem... but if you mean killing a task by klicking on X, you can set up the behaviour in settings-system-task manager-button
Guest Cutefox Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 i don“t know what you understand of the auto-close problem... but if you mean killing a task by klicking on X, you can set up the behaviour in settings-system-task manager-button nah its to do with multitasking.. you know how omnia ram is plenty to run a few proggie.. so far it auto closes a few proggie like omnia rotation, s2p, s2v, media album, etc etc when it ran out of memory, but the fact is the memory is still plenty to run them.. i couldnt get more than 3-4 proggie running at once without one or the other being closed.

Guest Cutefox Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 strange... i cant see that issue hmm thats why i was wonderin how u guys managed to do that. tell me whats the maximum apps u can open at any 1 time and list them out. i use visualtask to swap between apps btw.. so far proggies like s2p and s2v seems the ones that pull large ram that makes the other smaller ones closes.. and it seems to also based on the FIFO (first in first out) where the first program you ran would be the first one getting kicked out and auto closes while the latest once are protected and goes around in circle.
