Custom WM6.5 ROMs for i900 by Ryrzy

I have flashed a lot of roms since 2008. 28205 with classic manila is one of the best. Thank you very much Ryrzy and keep going your excellent work.

I have a few problems with the 28205 M2D.

• The date is today : DD/01/YYYY on almost everything
  
• You can't change the wallpaper under the settings tab
  
• The screen rotation doesn't work (yes it's on)
  
• Also, I speak Dutch, but the Marketplace is in French here
  
• When the screen is locked, the "calendar" doesn't show anything
  

Other than this, I haven't found any problems.

Are there simple thing we can do to fix these problems or am I the only one who has this?

I just found out that in BarcodeZilla, the camera doesn't work. Haven't tried the cam at all so far...

Just flashed the MD2 rom yesterday and I'm happy with it just a small isue for me.

I'm used to assign the "main menu hold " button to comm manager and "camera" button to lock device.

Any idea how to do this in this rom?

I just found out that in BarcodeZilla, the camera doesn't work. Haven't tried the cam at all so far...

x2 for screen rotation. 28205 is a great rom, working fluently! But rotation is something that is quite useful when it comes to running navigation programs, as i prefer running in landscape with the help of rotation service. Noticed that when automatic is chosen under motion sensor menu, once you exit and go back in it reverts back to manual!?

Build v23517 & v23518 include Office Mobile 2010 & Threaded Email very good but problem key Space, key -->, <-- of keyboard in create SMS

just installed this rom, everything is good apart from on mainscreen, when i select browser and press browser, nothing happens.

have to go to menu > internet explorer.

does this have opera or something else? i can only see internet explorer but everytime i open it up, it says "do ou want to make this as default browser" which means there must be something else installed on here already

any help much appreciated.

Hello. I'm using Ryrzy's 28002 and is the best rom I ever had. But I have a little problem:

Does it work HTC album? I couldn't make it run. Did someone try in the new version of the rom?

If it doesn't work I'm looking for an alternative. This program is by far the best to see the pictures. ¿some ideas?

just switch on WIFI router to make it not grayed in comm manager and it will be ok :)

- have a small bug - the weather does not update automaticly / in previos version 28 002 everything was o.k. /

- i coudn't find the "favorite settings "

- and .... have problem too to conect using WiFi

How to fix this problems ?

All right, I already said Ryrzy's 28205 M2D is the best ROM out there, now for some lame bug-reporting:

- I'm pretty sure the "launch browser" button from the Internet tab is not assigned to a valid browser location. After installing Opera 9.5, I changed it to \Windows\OperaL.exe for that to work.

- I'm not sure if this is a bug, but updating the weather in Weather tab doesn't update it in Home tab and vice versa. It sure is less useful than it could be.

- It appears Audio Manager get slightly laggy when I put the cellphone in "locked" mode. Listening to regular MP3 music, it lags every eight seconds or so. Windows Media lags less, but still does: every 30 seconds or so.

- On M2C, if you touch the settings on the "Lancher" tab, the lines of icons in the actual Launcher get all cluttered together so the names of apps stay behind the icons on the next line.

- I think setting the Weather tab and Home tab's respective weather apps to "download weather data automatically" does it too frequently and doesn't disconnect the internet afterwards, so the battery won't last a day.

- Also, on both weather apps, if you leave them in Fahrenheit it'll display Celsius value and vice versa.

- Windows Live and Messenger are the same thing right?

- That Bing must be some kind of buggy beta. It's not able to locate me (GMaps does and I don't have a GPS contract) and the Speak function doesn't work at all. If it's just for maps, I think GMaps is better...

- Is video calling disabled/deleted? After clicking on a contact, I have options to voice-call, sms, all phone numbers, but not video-calling. For that, I need to enter the Phonebook app, click on a contact from there and there's the option.

the only audio player that can be used in sleep mode is touch player, and it works great.

You have to turn off "WM6.5 new lock" option in settings/system/smart lock.

Does it work HTC album? I couldn't make it run. Did someone try in the new version of the rom?

If it doesn't work I'm looking for an alternative. This program is by far the best to see the pictures. ¿some ideas?

It sure is less useful than it could be. >> guess you are using this M2Dv2 for the first time it has been like this all along even in other cooked romz. the weather tab and home tab weather work seperately. just go to your home tab and clock on the weather and from there choose update now if you wish to update it at that instant.

- On M2C, if you touch the settings on the "Lancher" tab, the lines of icons in the actual Launcher get all cluttered together so the names of apps stay behind the icons on the next line. >> like i say before this is also a issue that been around since M2Dv2 launch. once you change the launcher number or columns/rows the works will cluttered together. so best is not to change that since you first flash.
