Another heads-up: as someone else pointed, lots of windows appear with a painfully thin scrollbar, and particularly the "find a folder" windows don't support thumbing up and down (stylus or nail mandatory). Aren't these thin scrollbars something of the system, that could be changed somehow?

...guess you are using this M2Dv2 for the first time it has been like this all along even in other cooked romz...

Yeah, thanks for the heads-ups. Sorry if nearly all bugs were already known. :) Sometimes repetition from different sources is one way to spot and fix bugs efficiently. I saw that one coming; as you said, I am using M2D for the first time alright, last time I flashed my Omnia it was one of Sector's older ROMs, about 6 months ago. Ryrzy's M2D ROM got my head spinning, it turned my Omnia into a whole new and improved thing.

...try exploring your advanced config for the settings to to make it auto disconnect within a time period of idle...

Only now, googling a bit, I realize there's anything beyond Opera 9.5... I'm so 2009...

the only audio player that can be used in sleep mode is touch player, and it works great.

I have found a solution for this problem.

You have to turn off "WM6.5 new lock" option in settings/system/smart lock.

Touch Player not included in this ROM right? I'll check out Raf2k's workaround and then Touch Player...

As Cosmo82 said, open the M2DC program, scroll sideways to the Internet tab, and there you'll have to input your favorite browser's executable. Mine was in \Windows\OperaL.exe. It was Opera 9.5.

Hi, me again :

I have a few problems with the 28205 M2D.

• The date is today : DD/01/YYYY on almost everything
  
• You can't change the wallpaper under the settings tab
  
• The screen rotation doesn't work (yes it's on)
  
• Also, I speak Dutch, but the Marketplace is in French here
  
• When the screen is locked, the "calendar" doesn't show anything
  

Other than this, I haven't found any problems.

Are there simple thing we can do to fix these problems or am I the only one who has this?

I just found out that in BarcodeZilla, the camera doesn't work. Haven't tried the cam at all so far...

I've noticed that the auto-rotation works after a reset. (strange but it works)

After my reset also the wallpaper problem goes a little further. Not it asks if I'd like to use a default wallpaper. No matter what option I choose, doesn't show anything

cant say it worked for me after a reset. But randomly yesterday, while S2U2 started up and i happened to have my phone on its side it rotated to landscape (Rotation service in action) then tried this while tom tom running but nothing, unless S2U2 started up, i unlocked the screen to go back to nav screen, then it stayed in landscape. This is the only thing keeping me from loving the rom 100%. Will look into this further but hopefully somebody can shed some light on this!

I used to edit internet tab registry values to add 2 other widget for IM Messenger & RSS Reader by duplicating youtube widget keys and edited them. but in this rom there is no youtube widget, no registry values therefore.

May someone who has a widget (like youtube widget) copy the keys and their values through this address: "HKML\Software\HTC\Manila2D\InternetWidget\Customized\\"

Great rom! using 28205 M2D. The only problem is the alarm that rings every morning at 09.00, i cannot find where i can set it off. Every alarm is off and still he rings every morning... do u have a solution?

open clock then choose wake-up alarm then uncheck the three alarms... i hope this can help...

- I think setting the Weather tab and Home tab's respective weather apps to "download weather data automatically" does it too frequently and doesn't disconnect the internet afterwards, so the battery won't last a day.

I have one question though, can I change fingerkeyboard with another version of it?? My doubts are because of the fact that at xda-dev they say that the previous installation must be uninstalled but I cant do that cause fingerkeyboard is built-in the rom.

Anyone can help me???

And also it seems that I cant enable video call even if i enable the phone skin through advanced config

update

about the video call the problem was the lack of 3g signal, once it found 3g the videocall has been enabled, I didnt tested it though!

Yeah, I wasn't sure if this was it, but I had already found it and have been trying it for a day. Looks ok, although I suspect it does disconnect in the middle of browsing too.

This is ultra useful though, as now I probably can finally use the phone to download e-mail messages (otherwise it would eat my battery in a couple hours). I had already got used to the idea that this was impossible on Omnia (sending messages was ok, but not downloading).

By the way, is it me or Pocket RAR won't work on this release (Manila 28205)? It won't go past configuration screen, I can set things up but not click on the "File" menu or close it.

ok i just flashed the normal 6.5 rom, it's fantastic! but i got two questions; when i press on calendar on the main menu, it opens up the classic calendar. is there any way to make it run the touch calendar? and the second is; can i remove pictures from the main menu?

Ryrzy, thank's a lot for the ROM. Excellent work, but 1 issue. Receiving contact ovet bluetooth from another phone (Nokia/SE) is not fixed yet. I noticed the same problem on OCK's 23518 ROM. I receive the other phone's bussiness card, but not the contact itself. And one minor issue - the ROM is a little bit laggie and slower, than your previous roms.

Thank's a lot for adding Wi-Fi update for XTRA GPS . And grate job with the memory usage.

Got it on mine and it's working fine so far :)

Only issue is with lock screen. In my previous rom when I lock the screen, the backlight would go totally off, but with this ROM it only dims a little bit. And this dries up my battery in matter of a few hours.

Does anyone knows how to fix this?

Hi,

To actvate not close with X button, use a regeditor.

HKCU\Software\e-Natives Technology\Showcase\SUITE_CloseOnTap

Change value from 1 to 0

After soft resetting, programs stay open (minimized) when tapping the X-button, but when tap-n-hold, programs really close. :)
