If you use the volume keys to make volume options appear and then press the picture in the middle of the circle it will change to the vibrate control and pressed again will take you to silent. I hope this is of any help to you.

The only problem i have is when you flick through the options for the sound it usually makes varied levels of sounds but i get nothing, dont know if this is just a problem with my flash/phone though.

I've testen TomTOM 7.916.9189, Garmin Mobile XT 5.00.20wp, GPSModDriver 151.

GPS at default 4800 and Extra switched off.

Garmin sees sattelites, gets fix occasionally, but screens keeps switching off. Same goes for GPS, it appears to loose connection with the GPS antenna from time to time.

With TomTom no luck yet.

How do i prevent the screen from switching of while TomTom or Garmin is running? if I recall correctly, I didnt have this problem with the HIDE ROMs...

Try iGO 8 , seem s pretty stable to me. I have't had any trouble with it.

What a fantastic release! This is the best my Omnia has been in over a year, well done!

Just two minor issues for me:

1. Sometimes when writing texts using the Samsung phonepad with T9 input, the suggested word pad disappears meaning I can't select which word I want.

2. Can't use the normal answer / hang up buttons when receiving a call whilst the phone is locked. Sliding the green or red buttons does work however.

Please keep up the good work, the improvement is brilliant so far! :)

Hello, I'm using the 28205 M2D, and on the home weather tab, (on the clock) I can't get the weather to find my position it says no weather data available and when google asks about my location it shows nothing.. in google maps it sees my location corectly.

the normal weather works fine.

also my wifi conections is extremely slow..

Love the rom and i would like to keep it.. if sombody could point me to a fix I would be grateful :)

just installed this rom, everything is good apart from on mainscreen, when i select browser and press browser, nothing happens.

have to go to menu > internet explorer.

does this have opera or something else? i can only see internet explorer but everytime i open it up, it says "do ou want to make this as default browser" which means there must be something else installed on here already

any help much appreciated.

I'm having this problem as well - Internet explorer wont load through the main menu?

Can someone fix the problem that prevents GPS XTRA Data to be automatically

downloaded when connected to PC via ActivSync over Bluetooth, acting as

it do when connecting over USB Connection ?

It does well sync over bluetooth if you push xtra data download button ....

GPS Sync is so fast with updated XTRA Data ...

You have to download the .exe version which has this option. It has to be around this forum somewhere. I'll try to upload it when i get home from work

About the first one, I had this problem with many rom's but its a suuuper easy fix (took me a while before i figured this solution out though):

while typing, if the bar of suggested words has disapeared, then swipe your finger over the D pad from left to right. Always works for me !

About number two: that's the whole idea of locking: that a press of a button (even the accept/end buttons) doesn't do anything until unlocked. It's a feature and not a bug :-)

This is for preventing to accidentally accept a call while your phone is in your pocket. If pressing the answer button worked i would have had many accidental accepts/hang ups in my life :-)

disable starup screens and provider to get a quicker boot. also enable the dialer skin to have smoother response on dialing. note: this rom requires that you manually set the connection for mms (be sure to check your provider's size limits)

Great ROM!

*doesn't allow for video conferencing/calls using front cam :)

My version 28205 lite does, offfcourse with dialer skin enabled

Forgot to mention that vibration dosn't work on less you have touch response enabled for all. Patch on site don't work

Just find the "Voice Mail and Text Messages" within those submenus... choose it and click "get settings..."

I can only speak from experience that I flashed mine with windows7 x64 and grandprix and it worked without any problems on the first attempt. I flashed from shokka9 v23 to this and the new rom has been working perfectly well for a week or so....so there you go

Try iGO 8 , seem s pretty stable to me. I have't had any trouble with it.

...It is not a ROM Problem. Garmin has a setting under "display". Check all the boxes to keep screen on. If you are not navigating, the phone will go to sleep mode unless you change settings. I use same Garmin version and it works fine. GPS Signal is solid! very accurate!

Now I've tried all versions of the latest rom, every version gives a problem with the date ... everywhere the day and year show as signs (DD or YYYY) and not as numbres...

Wallpaper doesn't change in the M2D (settings menu of M2D)

no date problem. change your regional settings to your pref. and you should be fine. wallpaper is set under reg home settings.

just reflash and let it auto fill your info at initial launch
