Really? I called VZW 1st & they told me to go into the local store for quicker service. The store didn't have any in stock. But they ordered it for me. I got a brand new replacement shipped overnight with no extra charges.

You have to love the different stories you get from different people. I wish VZW would get their people on the same page. :)

I must say that I have no issues with this device now though.

Search Black Carbon Photo on Google and you will find hundreds of photos to save and use as your background.

Is there a way to move the clock on the lock screen? The display is right in front of Vader's face soooooo it needs to move. :)

Apart from setting the sounds, this release is pretty flawless for me, and fast.

same for me... This is the first time that I've actually gotten into -- and enjoyed -- titanium.

Maybe bgill is busy cooking v2.5.1, which might include the plug-in that makes coffee. :)

seriously, though... I struggle to see how one could otherwise improve on v2.5.

The gentleman who was assisting me did not suggest at first for me to pay for it. He said I would have it in 1-2 day but I didn't want to take a chance of going 2 days without my phone. So I asked if there was anything he could do and then he told me that for a small fee I can have it overnighted and guaranteed by 1 PM. So I paid for the guarantee of having it by tomorrow afternoon. But I was not forced to pay I just wanted to make sure I got it by tomorrow and not leave it up to chance. Im sure if I went this morning it would not have been an issue but due to the fact that is was getting close to the evening it was a little more tricky.

Yeah. I offered to work on someones personal computer at work and now they call and send email and txt all the time asking me computer related questions, like somehow because I touched their computer it is now my baby, I was just trying to be nice !

They wouldn't have given you one anyways. They don't give new ones is what I was told when I got mine replaced. Store had 7 new ones in stock.

This is not true for everyone I "bricked my phone" took it to the VZW store in webster texas walked out with a brand new off the shelf.

To all those having trouble changing the ring tone, this is a work around solution. What you need to do is find the ring tone that you want to use and rename it to something that comes first on the drop down list.

Example: Requiem_for_a_Dream is above Shadow_Business so what I did was rename Shadow_Business to aShadow_Business, that way it is first on the list and becomes default. Soft reset after making the changes.

Kind of a pain in the @$$, but works. Hope this helps out!

hey! thanks jmart! :) After I loaded 2.5 last night and set up everything the way I wanted... (bliss, my own wallpaper w/ the R&R black theme, and loaded MSoffice to storage with the correct chome item values, etc..) I couldn't figure out the ring tone bug!!! then I try to log on to the forum and the server was down!!! at least i think it was.

now I finally have my hanson brothers mmbop ring tone back :) HAHA!

no knock on me this rom flies for me whens the last time you did a hard reset? Like a real SYS hard reset?

I have tried downloading several times. Each time, the file is corrupt. Tried on both my pc's. It may just be the overload of people DL'ing the 2.5.1 rom, or it may be the zip itself. Just a heads up...Ill try again in the morning!! Great work BG!!!!
