Bgill55, your 1.4 M2D is a very nice rom! once I removed icontacts and loaded up Phone X it was perfect :)

Its really fast! I found you dont have to use the TFDetacher. I just enabled TF the old way...

now I have 3 options for UI. m2D, Titainum, and basic home with Phone X bar

TFDetacher instructions:

1. After Flash there is no need to enable Touchflo, hit start scroll to TFDConfig. click on it. it will open up tab over to config on the bottom.

2. the first thing you will do now in the config screen is change the TouchFlo Mode. It must say "TouchFlo 2D" k that part is done.

3. Now uncheck "launch TouchFlo on start up". Check "After Launch, Hide then Show"

4. press the "change Today Left Soft Key" hit the "quick Assignments..." Arrow and press "show TouchFlo" the Text should now read TouchFlo

5. Go back to your today screen and your left soft key should now say TouchFlo you can hit that to luanch TouchFlo.

6. Go back into config and do the same for the the TouchFlo Left soft key you will want to change it to "hide TouchFlo" the text should say "today" for this setting to stick you need to soft reset but this is where the probles lies once you soft reset your today soft key will not stay it will go back to "contacts" so to do this open your fav reg editor and follow these settings:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome.

All the way down to the bottom Change SK1TEXT to Touchflo and SK1URL to \Program Files\TFDetacher\TFDShowTF.exe

Wait 30 Seconds and Soft reset so both settings will stick you will only have to do this once and you will be set!

Hello, i have problem about video calling even all setting are ok but when i tried to make video calling, video calling tab is disabled. I thought that this problem coming from rom. is it right? And do u have any idea to settle this problem?

I don't know if I'm the first one to run into this or not, but for some reason I can't open AdvancedConfig.exe in 1.4. At first it said that I needed a newer version of .NET, but once I reinstalled 3.5 and did a soft reboot it was fine. Did .NET get left out on the last build?

How can I 'turn off' the default Omnia task manager? Not the HTC one, but the one that comes up when you swipe your finger from the bottom to the top of the screen? It seems to have a problem with my Showcase task manager (causes a lockup), and always comes up when I am trying to do a big scroll in a list (or in the start menu)?

Gotta be something I can disable via the registry or via SKTools....

in v1.3.1 and loved (230009), using SMS i could type in the first couple of letters and it would pop up suggestions. I am now running v1.4CF and i have noticed this no longer happens. Was this taken out or do i need to change some settings to activate this?

Google maps won't let me type in a destination address (using gps as the start position).

you need to use a 3rd part keyboard to type in google maps!! this has been asked and answered many times!

1.4 is working flawlessly for me! Really like the manual placement start menu. I suspect that I will be flashing again very soon though, so I don't know how much longer this wonderful build will reside on my phone.

replace the omnia task.exe with a fake .exe that will kill it! just make like t text file rename it to the same as the one you want to replace use resco or the like to overwrite. That should work!

Ok so this rom was so smooth I new it was too good to be true, and actually it really is too good but one small problem. I cant change the weather icons, wen i click the number 6 on titanium weather options some error message pops up, any idea how i can load some new icons? besides that this rom is amazing. it also seems there isnt a titanium weather folder??? seriously though, i hate to pick at something so small wen the rom overall is so amazing...smoothest start menu scroll ive seen so far, among many other good stuff of course!

this is an easy fix! take the weather icons that you want, put them in your storage open up resco explorer or the like, copy all weather icons, go to Windows/HTC and overwrite soft reset and you are good to go! No need for a .PLG file either i think its easier that way!!!

Cool that was the same exact problem I was having! Thanks for the fix, I'm gonna try this out. BTW 1.4 is AMAZING! Definitely the best, and so far no problems at all. Thanks so much for an awesome ROM!
