Guest blazingwolf Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 Ok, but if you just make it a empty text file, would that not give an error when it (WinMo) tries to execute it? Or would we just need a no op 'fake' program? /Chimp It might. I have no idea what you are trying to do.

Anyway, it works and disables the task switcher. By looking at the name of the file I think it was created by Adryn. If you get a permission problem message, soft reset and try again w/o doing anything else. this gesture will be removed in next release! i also have a few other thing going on! I think im gonna jump on the XDA_UC band wagon (if BW doesnt shoot me for it) I just cooked a rom with it in and its pretty cool!
Guest Tedwerd Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 Hey Bgill running the 1.4 rom and it is working great. probably the smoothest yet, functions flawlessly. I am also running the Omnia topaz comm manager. You should check it, adds a nice interface for turning on and off phone functions.. Side note does anyone know of a cab for the option to ignore a call with text. I've seen some old winmo phones with it and the Omnia 2 is going to have it with a wide verity of canned messages to send to incoming caller. But if anyone know of a cab/update for this that would be great! thanks keep up the great work! also I'm definitely down if you add the XDA_UC.. would be a huge help for the amount of flashes I do on a less than weekly basis! Im pretty sure I'm obsessed.
Guest marioBboy Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 I dont think i understand your question! What seems to be the problem? my problem is, when I downloaded the zip file, extract and leaves me only the bin file, and to update the rom as I do?
Guest bga7x Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 my problem is, when I downloaded the zip file, extract and leaves me only the bin file, and to update the rom as I do? are you you on i i910?
Guest Chimp Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 bgill: I've noticed that with your latest ROM, the power/charge LED (on the power button) isn't working anymore. Before, when charging, it would glow red, and when done, glow green. Now I've noticed that I get nothing when I am charging or when the charge is complete. Is this something in the new ROM? Or has my charge LED went on the blink? /Chimp
Guest jgilfor Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 my problem is, when I downloaded the zip file, extract and leaves me only the bin file, and to update the rom as I do? OK, this has been going on for too long. Here is the scoop: - Ensure that you have the i910 (NOT the i900). If you try these ROM's on the i900, you will likely brick your phone. - FIRST use the Verizon provided or leaked "official" upgrade to flash your device. You MUST do this first, as this loads the entire ROM image and new radio onto the Omnia. This "preps" the device, so to speak, for subsequent flashing with custom ROM's. You need only do this once. - Unzip the downloaded ROM. It will be named in the format "Flash_*.bin". That is your ROM. - Turn off your phone, by pressing the power button until it shuts down with the Omnia shutdown tone and screen. - Open activesync on your computer (or the mobile device center if you run Vista), and UNCHECK connect via USB. - Start the Omnia UMDL, select PDA, and load the ROM we unzipped above. It should load into UMDL. - On the left side bottom of the UMDL screen, select "DETECT". - Connect your (turned of) phone, then turn it on by pressing and holding the power button for about 5 seconds. If the charging battery screen comes on instead, simply press the power button again. - The Omnia should start up with a "boot loader" type screen, and the UMDL should recognize and program your device.

Guest bluematrix64 Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 Bgill: I am a brand new FA, a "rookie" per se. I have tried roms from most of the heavy hitters on here in a very short period of time. I have to say that your 1.4 M2D that allow you to flip flop between the titanium and touchflo ROCKS! Keep up the good work!
Guest [email protected] Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 Whats makes this different then any other M2D theme? That's all it looks like to me.

Guest [email protected] Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 Hey Bgill are you using the camera app from the latest CF03 ROM? I noticed all the effects such as emboss, negative, and so forth are not there. I really liked those.

Guest woodsptw Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 I tried the beta.. and when I did texting - it brought up a list of names to choose from. I'm on the M2D version and I that did not happen.. is this a setting I have to choose??
Guest misanthrowup Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 Bgill, I have your 1.3 M2D rom loaded, and was wondering if the version of M2D in 1.4 has been updated. If not, is there any way to independently update the M2D? Thanks!
Guest knightofeffect Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 Hey Bgill, First off, thanks for the awesome ROM. I do have some questions though. 1) I know someone mentioned earlier how their samsung keyboard didn't work with google maps, and you said that it was an inherent problem with the phone. Well before I upgraded to CF03 mine worked perfectly, so is this is a problem with the CF03 base rom? 2) My screen no longer locks when I'm in calls and I cant find the option, but I'm sure I'm just being blind. 3) Is there some way to get back the CF03 keyboard enhancement where the letter that you are pressing is shown above your finger? 4) Is there some way to change the keyboard away from the black that it is set on. The blockiness of the keys and color really contrast with the scheme I picked out for the rest of the phone. 5) The left softkey of the M2D settings tab just goes to connection settings not all settings, is that intentional by design? 6) Is there anyway to increase the transparency of the start and softkey bars during M2D usage? Thanks for all your help and keep up the good work!
