I downloaded and installed your 1.4 M2D ROM yesterday and installed it. I was little shocked when it came up with the TITANIUM interface - thought at first I had the wrong ROM. Simply changed it from the TODAY SETTINGS.

I love the M2D interface, but I noticed yesterday that my phone was very SLOW to respond in a lot of apps. I was trying to TEXT and I would hit letter and then look at the screen to see they were not there. I would start to re-type then and notice I had duplicates. Very annoying.

I have not loaded anything on the phone yet other than my contacts (195 of them), and my calendar entries (290 of them). Why would it be doing this. I have soft-reset it or hard-reset it at least 5 times. Does not seem to help.

How do you put things onto the HONNEYCOMB start menu? I got your files for the 3x start menu...THANK YOU. As I had asked in an earlier question about the calculator - it is not on the START MENU. It is on the ALL PROGRAMS menu, but not the start menu. Also I noticed that the FLASHLIGHT button was gone from the START MENU. That has to be one of the kewlest things about this phone. How do you access it (what .EXE) do you use to make a button if I wanted one?

Glad I saved the CARBON FIBER wallpaper from the first CF03 ROM I downloaded of yours...I had the METAL SPLAT one. It is kewl looking and all, just looks horrible behind all the other stuff.

Ths ROM works, and I was watching a video yesterday about a new version of WM65 that removes the TABS in things like SETTINGS etc and has a scrolling app/tab bar at the top. It looked kewl. When do you think that one will be incorporated?

wow you are making me work this morning ok let me tackle you questions!

1. if you installed 1.4 M2D rom i haven included TFDetacher (please read the release note in post #2 to get this going.) all my M2D roms still have titanium in it!

2.not sure about the lag you are describing i used that rom for 2 days and it worked great!

3.if you are on 1.4 thae calculator is in the start menu, if its in all programs its on the start menu as well as they are the same thing!(sorta)

4. 1.4 has torch button included, im pretty sure i left that in!

5. my beta 21928 has those features you are describing!

Is there anyway to get showcase task to showup in the taskbar to the right like other roms? I installed another version of lisbian taskbar instead of your stock one??

I'm having problems with my modem. Just flashed the 1.4.1 update and added the fixes but when i set up my active sync to sync my google contacts there is no data connection. tried connecting data connection in comm manager and no luck. any suggestions?

yes! click on the EV in the task bar, then hit the settings link tab over to advance, press the Select network button, make sure My ISP is selected in the first option then hit ok

if you move your finger have an inch to the right from where the HTC task button was and hit the menu hardware button you will get the same effect but with a more finger friendly Task Manager

One other question... I installed your carbon fiber background cab, and it skins most things but not the contacts in the dialer and a couple other programs??

you need to rename the carbon fiber files to dialer_bg and dialer_bg_l make sure that they are jpegs, use resco to overwrite in your windows folder

I will take a look at that. Were there any HEAP changes from the Titanium version and the M2D version? That is the only thing that I can think which might cause the slowness. Not knowing a lot about the Windows Mobile OS, the first CF03 ROM of yours that I downloaded - once I fixed the WEATHER stuff - was the "B" "O" "M" "B" !!!! It was SUPER FAST, SUPER KEWL, and only missing a few things that "I" liked....namely the LISBIAN TOOLBARS with the kewl color icons.

Are those icons installable as a separate CAB file some place? I had asked LISBIAN the question once - but never really got an answer.

Where is this new BETA you mention with the TABS to SCROLL MENU? Maybe I should beta it?

Lisbian taskbar has nothing to do with task management. You need a task manager like the one from HTC or Showaco.

that is what I thought... I see bgill cooked in showcase, and there seems to be an addon that you can install that will enable the x button to close programs on the taskbar...

go to windows find the phonebook.exe and make a .lnk and put it in your start menu

ok 1.4.2 is all finished all bugs have been fixed, for now you must soft reset for XDA_UC to start for some reason when i have it set up to start after flash it kills the modem settings!!!

ok v1.4.2 is almost up here is the details

1. XDA_UC will no longer start right after flash so you must hit start to finish the booting process. Then do a soft reset! it will start after that! This also fixes the no Modem settings bug!!!

2. Call log added

3. Showcase no kills the app when you hit X, i didn't map it to the Hardware button as it has a short cut n the task bar now!

sorry about 1.4.1, this is a good reason you shouldnt cook after 12am!!!!
