Hey BG,

Great ROM. I'm loving the new dialer pad. Only thing is now i can not find or access wifi!!! I installed the topaz com manager ... it "turns on" wifi, but there is no other real sign that wifi is on ... can't connect to a network or anything. Can you. or anybody, please help???

love it.. this is my first 6.5 ROM with the new CF03 software. ive used M2D exclusively till now but thought it was time for a change. great work! :)

Well one last question, when I try to use titanium weather icon option to change icons I get an error, it is already defaulted to HTC... I tried to install other icon packs via cab but never get the option to change icons???

hey, i used total commander, but i guess you could use resco explorer or something else too, and i copied all new tit weather icons i downloaded to the htc folder in windows folder - it will overwrite all previous icon images, then i changed file name of the .plg file that came w/ the new weather icons i downloaded (i changed original "LioryteKlearII.plg" to LioryteStav.plg" - which is what the ROM comes with) and moved it to the windows folder, overwriting the original ... and now i have all the new icons i wanted :) ...after a soft reset

Hope that helps - you're just renaming to match files that were cooked into ROM, then overwriting them

I believe the opening line on the thread states its a rom for him

if there is something you like or don't like there are ways to remedy it

Yes.. I see Phone and Bluetooth - but no WiFi

When I go start, settings, connections, comm mgr - WiFi is grayed out.

something you are doing wrong, just tested and works perfect!

BTW 23017 is out i already have it ported and building now!!! When it rains it pours!!!

removed wake up on SMS here is the cab if you still want it on your phone!

Put it in your XDA_UC folder :)

included Opal Commanager!! so if you have the set up to install you can remove that, every thing else is the same as v1.4.2

link is good try again! I was cleaning up my 4 shared file i think i might have deleted the new rom!! lol it was still in my trash file but its all good now!!!!!

do me a favor pull you battery then put it back in then turn on you phone and tell me if you see your wifi in the comm manager panel on the today screen

pulled batt w/ phone on, reboot ... and, see comm mang in start menu, press it and it looks like it turns on wifi, but no network notifications come up, no taskbar icon for wifi, and still in original comm manager, there is no wifi option, kust "bluetooth" and "phone" and i can't find it thru settings either ... :)

... oh and chome editor won't open it says "either it is not signed w/ a trusted certificate or one of its components can not be found. if prob persists try reinstalling (which i have thru cab) or restoring this file"

*fixed wifi issue, batti semed to be interfering w/ it. Uninstall batti, wifi now show up/works normally

still no luck running chome editor tho

I personally don't, fwiw, but I don't think I will be flashing right away...v1.4 is working well for me and I am hoping I can hold out until a newer M2D version can be integrated... we'll see! Thanks bg
