I think that all of us understand that you do hav a life outside of building us ROMs to play with. It seems from reading this forum that some people are never satisfied with anything. You could probably build a custom ROM for each and every complainer here and they would still complain. Do not get me wrong, some of my comments might be construed as a complaint..they are, however not meant to be that as all. Simply a question.

I love your ROMs - have not even ventured into the others in quite some time. I have the M2D 1.4 version on the i910 right now...and the only thing I hate about it - is that my keyboard does not work in GoogleMaps. It appears that my slowness problems have gone away - not sure what I changed to make them stop - but they are gone.

Looking forward to the day that a CHEF comes out with a ROM that when it is run, it comes up with a menu that says "CHOOSE YOUR APPS" and allows one to have a BASE WM ROM with nothing but the Windows stuff that comes normally, if you do not choose anything - or allows you to customize your ROM by choosing your apps. Probably will never happen - but it is a novel idea. :-)

I think I am going to download your latest creation and put it on the i910 today, and as much as I like the M2D interface - they are not as friendly as the TITANIUM ones. Too many things that seem to piss me off with them. But, hey, that is just me.

I am still reading these forums like mad on the weekends - and one day I will get comfortable enough to create a ROM of my own. I am hoping when I do that I can do one with the LCARS screens like the ones on ST:TNG. What a KEWL touch screen phone that would make. Or even like the TRI-CORDERS.

Well enough rambling. BGill - please keep up the SUPERB work, and who knows...one day another budding chef may emerge here.

That is WAAAAAY!! to kewl, only thing - BGill is not sick. He is like the SUPER-ULTIMATE-ESCHELONIC-JEDI MASTER of the Omnia ROMs. I love his work.

I do have a question about the LISBIAN icons. The ones from your 1.1/1.2 ROMS which were multi-coloured were superb. Which ones were they? How do I get the LISBIAN Toolbar CAB so that I can install it ?

XDA_UC Instructions!!!

Before you flash this Rom, you need to set up a few things on your phone! In your Storage Card(not My Storage) you need to set up a folder called XDA_UC. In this folder you can put any .cabs files that you load to Device Memory, IE: Titanium Plugins, SRS WOW....etc. in that folder you need to create a a sub folder called SD, put any .cab files that you install to "My Storage" or your "Storage card". What XDA_UC will do is after you flash, And Soft Reset it will install those .cabs for you so you can just look at you phone and smile as all the work is done for you! Cabs that you put in the SD folder will need your attention as it will ask where you want them to be installed. You must Soft Reset after Flash you will se XDA_UC pop up with a count down you can either tap it or let the timer count down!! after that Soft reset if needed, to finalize the instalation of your cabs!! What is the difference between flotanium and version 1.5.1?

Has anyone had problems enabling online widgets on v1.5.1? I have had online widgets on all versions 'till v1.5. I really like the new version, so am hoping for a fix. Anyone?

The difference is that the 1.5.1 version that BG just uploaded is the Titanium Theme only. The "Flotanium" is a mixed ROM that allows you to run both the Titanium theme or the TouchFlo (M2D) themes with the touch of a button. I love the "Flotanium" because I like changes and I often swap from one to the other by the mood that I am in.

BGill...did you see my post about needing the toucflo.exe file from the /windows root directory? Or anyone on here who can copy and upload a copy...I'll be greatly appreciative. I'm stuck in Titanium right now and want my TouchFlo back.

TFDetacher instructions:

1. After Flash there is no need to enable Touchflo, hit start scroll to TFDConfig. click on it. it will open up tab over to config on the bottom.

2. the first thing you will do now in the config screen is change the TouchFlo Mode. It must say "TouchFlo 2D" k that part is done.

3. Now uncheck "launch TouchFlo on start up". Check "After Launch, Hide then Show"

4. press the "change Today Left Soft Key" hit the "quick Assignments..." Arrow and press "show TouchFlo" the Text should now read TouchFlo

5. Go back to your today screen and your left soft key should now say TouchFlo you can hit that to luanch TouchFlo.

6. Go back into config and do the same for the the TouchFlo Left soft key you will want to change it to "hide TouchFlo" the text should say "today" for this setting to stick you need to soft reset but this is where the probles lies once you soft reset your today soft key will not stay it will go back to "contacts" so to do this open your fav reg editor and follow these settings:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome.

All the way down to the bottom Change SK1TEXT to Touchflo and SK1URL to \Program Files\TFDetacher\TFDShowTF.exe

Wait 30 Seconds and Soft reset so both settings will stick you will only have to do this once and you will be set!

Doesn't work on the GSM Samsung dialer (with the i910, it does work on the GSM phone). You will need to use the WM dialer if you don't like the lock.

I'm pretty sure this is the same hack that Adrynalyne did to remove the lock from the dialer (and before him Paul of Modaco).

It doesn't seem as if he is willing to share though. A shame really since he would not be able to do what he does with out our help.

Disable Keypad Lock during Calls</H3>Omnia will automatically enabled the Key Lock during call. Samsung Technical Support is unwilling to tell customer how to disable this fuction. But they have hint to Omnia Commuity on what to do and not to do in the registry. There are two methods to work around, one is in a Mortscript and another an exe file.

The registry key involved is HKLM\System\State\Touchlock .

Set to 0 -> screen enabled, set to 1 -> screen locked

Editing the registry do not help as it will automatically set to 1 after a call is connected. They have built the function in SECDialer.dll unless you hack this dll file.

The program will set it to 1 to lock when you are making a call and set it to 0 when you press the Action Key to ulock.

Installing a MorScript File

You can install a morscript file to get around this Key Lock. The morscript will check when the phone program is running and resets the registry value to 0 after the phone program sets it to 1.

The morscript will continue to run until the next soft reset or when you power off your phone. I am not sure how this will affect the battery life on your Omnia. You may try and see whether it have an big impact on your battery life.

Using the MorScript File

1. Extract the MorScript.exe and No_screenlock.mscr to your Omina.

2. Run the Morscript.exe

3. Run the No_screenlock.mscr

Installing a EXE File

Another way to overcome this is to install a EXE File. it will disable the screen lock every time it turns ON. You just need to extract the EXE file and put it on your Omnia. Run the EXE file and if you do not want it just delete the EXE file from your Omnia.
