what UI is that?

Its the new MotoSurf Today form an ASUS device. Its floating around XDA and here too I believe.

It is a cross between Android and M2d. Not as fluid as M2d but convenient enough. Check it out!

Thanks Bgill55 for the great roms, i am loving every release so far! With the current one V1.6, I am having an issue with the bluetooth. I can Pair & sync with the lappy, but cannot send a file or pic via the bluetooth, just says that the phone is not responding. I can pair with my old mobile phone, but cannot connect, just says the connection failed or the passcode is incorrect. Your previous roms i had no issue with this. Any Ideas? Thanks!

installed 1.6 and have no problem with exchange at all. set it up while connected with active sync.

I did notice that when the phone is locked it doesn't show anymore how many mails (if any) I got. Have to unlock and then I see how many mails I got. same pron true for voicemail, missed cals etc, but haven't tested that yet.

Any fix for that ?

Somewhere along the line the lock screen changed from showing number of new mails to number of new mails since you last locked the device. Once you get used to it it's actually better IMO.

That would explain it. I did see a brief flash of 1 for new e-mail when locked, then it reset itself to nothing.

Went there and noticed that all options were disabled by default before i posted, enabled the obex, but still the same problem. i even reinstalled the devices several times to no avail. i guess i will try reinstalling the rom and see if that works? Again, the previous roms had no issues with this.Thanks

Okay, went and reflashed the phone with V1.6 again, checked the bluetooth settings for obex, and still the same problem. something changed in this rom?, unless someone has some ideas, i'm fresh out.

Maybe someone else can try this , maybe its just me, but i have been transerfing my contacts from my old phone via bluetooth to the Omnia after every flash, but on V1.6 23025, i can pair with the phone, but they will not connect, and i can pair,connect,sync with my laptop, but cannot send a pic or file directly to the phone. Anyone else having this issue?

after installing the Samsung_Volume_Control_Full_bgill55.cab what do you do next? i installed to main memory then soft reset and vol hard keys still goes to the default slider ? i am using the 1.5 flotanium rom....

In addition to the volume adjust screen not going away easily (I had to open something else to get it to relax), the volume (at least for me) is way too low again like back before the volume fix for Omnia came out. Is it my ears?

I had to make a call and while in-call open the volume setting to increase the in-call volume which was set very low.

The volume hard keys only bring up the larger task bar icons where I need to tap on the volume icon to adjust the volume. I would rather the hard keys just bring up the volume control without this extra step. How can i map the volume hard keys back to the volume control?

Just copy the files into the windows folder and overwrite the existing files, then reset. It does give you 3 rows and a white highlighting.

I am noticing the same problem, hard volume keys just enlarge taskbar. Will try the full screen volume in the meantime. Edit: works just fine now with full volume.

Maybe something along the lines of...

If you hold one of the taskbar icons it opens the enlarged bar, otherwise it just launches it's program?

Hi bgill I'm still having the issue where the call history button on the m2d home works for a while and then becomes nonresponsive. Is there somewhere i should be looking to set this once it happens?

I figured out what's happening: when I enable 'phone skin' in advanced config, it kills the call history link on m2d home. Can't find a way to reroute the call history link, looked at the registry but nothing there that I could find. No problem I can live with the default skin.

This is for the 1.6 version NO M2D. Just installed the cab and did a soft reset. Nothing else to it.

that was for the old task bar!!! Snapz54 the files you replaced killed the task you can either do a hard reset or load Lisbians task or Krazzy radd task for the i910 that will fix your issues!
