that was for the old task bar!!! Snapz54 the files you replaced killed the task you can either do a hard reset or load Lisbians task or Krazzy radd task for the i910 that will fix your issues!

this ones works!

3_in_a_row_bgill55.cab

I dont have that problem with the non responsive start button. I think i installed Lisbians task bar first, not sure. in which order I did it, but it works fine on my phone.

you guys with the blue tooth problem try this cab for me and tell me if it fixes the issue!!

install to device memory and then soft reset!

Bluetooth_fix_V1.6_Bgill55.cab

Installed cab, no change. reflashed back to 1.5.1, worked fine, flashed back to 1.6, didn't work with or without the cab fix.

loved the rom but its definitely beta still for 23025 build

-using the up/down buttons did not work with the volume ( i know you can change this in the phone settings though) instead they controlled the menus

- when I went into personal to check my phone settings, exiting out I got some distorted screen that would not go away no matter how many soft resets, powered off or removing the battery I did it still stayed

- So for the time being I am using 23017 until it becomes more stable

Look forward to using the newer winmo with the more finger friendly enhancements when its more stable.

Is there anyway to change the hexagon menu back to 3 instead of 4 - for me it seems more finger friendly with 3 as 4 I tend to hit something and its wrong and it takes a few attempts.

I figured it was too much to fix and I hard reset, I'll try the new one and let you know my results, thanks.

2 things.. seems like the response to the keys or requires a more deliberate touch than before.

IE did not zoom when double tap but Opera did??

Ok, here's another thing with this new 1.6 build:

I use Sashimi to install my apps. I have it set up to install certain apps into the ASL (Alternative Storage Location) - which in my case happens to be 'My Storage'. Worked perfectly before; now however, it is installing these items into my 'Storage Card' rather than 'My Storage'.

I didn't change anything with Sashimi so I has got to be this particular build. Any ideas on this? Thx...

Yeah this is a real problem on this build...texting is REAL sluggish and it's even affecting games...you have to lift the stylus a few seconds and re-press...not fun. I think I'll be going back a version or 2 until this gets worked out.

Any chance of an update to flash this weekend? With or without custom taskbar.

Did bubble breaker get removed? If so does anyone have the cab?

So is there any update as to how stable this new rom is? I'm anxious to try out the OK in the bottom left corner (Seems to make a lot more sense), but I'm hesitant to reflash with these issues showing up...

BUT THE FLASHING BUG IS NIPPING AT MY HEELS! I CAN'T RESIST!

I would like to start of by saying I am running 1.5.1 of this rom and is by far the best and most stable rom I've ever used on my Omnia. I have not discovered any bugs like I have with other chefs' roms. My only complaint is very minor but it is just kind of something that annoys me. For some reason on my home screen when I go to favorite contacts there is the big red X icon instead of the favorite people icon. Any idea why this is happening?

Haha I don't really feel like taking out my dads number so feel free to prank call him if you want.

I think that Bgills 1.6 is AWESOME! I'm lovin it. There are some definate things that are buggy with with build but certainly give it a try. Don't forget to map a hard key ato the ok/X button. This will solve the issues that I have found with this specific build.

Thanks GrassGuy, I'm definitely going to flash tonight. A couple of things to clear up before I do, though. I am trying to install that single column Start menu mentioned earlier on this page, but I am unable to copy it into the Windows folder... says I don't have authority or something along those lines.

How do you install the single Column Start menu?

Oops, Resco Explorer > File Explorer :D

Anyone find a fix for the lag when inputting text with Onscreen keyboard? I LOVE this rom, but this one bug is making it completely unusable :D

Once this is addressed, I will be SO satisfied! LOVING Showcase

I agree. bgill has put so much into this rom it's a shame this one thing that he isn't even responsible for is keeping some from using it. i do so much texting it just isn't usable at this time. I'm back on the m2d lite 1.5 and it is so awesome! Runs so smooth and never locks up...I already miss the big bottom buttons of the 1.6 rom...really made my phone a 1-handed device.

I love the new button schemes and zoomed in taskbars so much that I'll just suffer through until the lag is fixed :D

so you think that the only thing that can be done is wait for a new XIP to be released?

Sorry if this question seems lame but, how where is the setting to remove the clock from the right-hand side of the menu bar? It gets in the way of the showcase/close button.

Also, I already pointed this out, and was told that you simply need to press the OK/close button to get out of this screen; but, when you are in the change phone options screen, the ONLY way that I can get out and get back to the main options screen is to soft rest. Clearly this is a bug, and it's not a big deal (since I only do this once when I flash a new ROM or hard reset)... just want to have it on the "bug list."
