Guest Chimp Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 Bgill, is there a reason you went back to the HTC Task Manager rather than Showcase? Just curious as I still prefer Showcase. /Chimp

Guest rgsekula Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 *Update* 23028 whats fixed! 4. HTC task manager back in but the icon for the drop down Quick menu i made transparent, so you dont have the overlap of clock and the icon but it still works just click where its supposed to be! I'm indifferent on the two task apps. however i'm still on your last ROM 23025 but in the settings i just selected to hide homescreen icon for showcase and it works fine. Today looks good with the clock / no over lap ANd the button still works / here it is pressed. ...Anyway thanks for all your contributions. Looking forward to flashing to your 23028 tonight.
Guest Kryptonickid Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 Excellent BG! I'll flash here in a few and give you an update when I get a moment!

But it comes back after a soft reset!
Guest rgsekula Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 But it comes back after a soft reset! Hmm. It didn't come back for me. It even works with the Moto Surf today, whereas the HTC task wasnt appearing on today screen. Cant wait to get home to relash to your updated version. :D
Guest whitj Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 I have to agree with the above posters, I found showcase to be better than HTC's task manager. After several soft resets, the icon remained hidden on my device, so maybe give it one more shot, it seems weird that it would show up for you after resets. Again, Loving the roms, and I am waiting with bated (baited? whatever, it's a dumb expression) breath for when the XIP fixes the double tap issue
Guest shinta4e Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 dude i love your roms but wad2 is unusable when you go to edit a script the side menu isnt there you should talk to blazingwolf cuz with his wad2 is unchanged
Guest tampaboy1984 Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 Is there a reason why Samsung Dialer Screen is Scrollable...kinda retarded. Any fix for this?
Guest Chimp Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 Bgill (and others): Any ideas on how to get Sashimi to install to My Storage instead of Storage Card each time? Do we think this is a problem with your build specifically, or is it an issue with these new WM builds themselves? /Chimp
Guest RafiPZ Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 Hey Bgill, awesome roms. Would you happen to know how to backup or transfer over my CHomeEditor settings i've made every time I flash? I usually make new panels or remove a couple and I get tired of doing it after every flash :D
Guest tampaboy1984 Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 Thumbs up on the Rom bgill! I have flashed to your 1.7 and so far only noticed one thing that the Samsung Dialer is Scrollable... I realize I can use the custom one but I prefer the Samsung Dialer. it looks to me like its scrollable because of Thicker taskbar at the bottom, I am not any good at programming or skinning or anything like that I think a good solution is resizing the Samsung Dialer a couple of pixels smaller vertically to fix this issue. Just a thought. Let me know what you think.
Guest gayflag Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 Does anyone know how i can change the x and check marks back to the default? I liked them better than the red X and green check.

Guest tampaboy1984 Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 Hey Bgill I somehow changed my theme, and now its retarded looking how can I get back to your stock theme with the transparent taskbars?
Guest tampaboy1984 Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 i havent found a way to remove it yet looking though! Cool, thanks man. I'll keep checking back for the fix.
Guest bga7x Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 Hey Bgill I somehow changed my theme, and now its retarded looking how can I get back to your stock theme with the transparent taskbars? Hard reset or reflash to get the default them back! Cool, thanks man. Guest tampaboy1984 Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 Hard reset or reflash to get the default them back! Dang it I was hoping you wouldnt say that I have the phone all setup with M2D and everything I want.
Guest fendyreleven Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 I changed from techmasters Solar Flare red to your flotanium and really like your rom. My main issue is that the customer bar on titanium with the red "V" is still there even after I flashed the Flotanium Rom. I even reflashed the Flotanium 1.5 and 1.7, hard reset, and still have the red sideways "v". How do I get the regular bar back in titanium? Thanks
