Guest jtoso Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 I would like to upgrade to this new v2.0 ROM of yours (currently running 1.3) but I don't have a storage card yet. Can I use this new ROM without the (XDA) folders.. (without a card)? I did do a search but couldn't find anything. Thank you!
Guest blazingwolf Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 The zoom is also pointless on a digital-only zoom. If it had optical zoom, it would make a difference. The same "zoom" effect on the Omnia can be done via the computer by cropping and stretching the picture if you want it bigger. In your opinion.
Guest RwP1138 Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 In your opinion. he is right BW he is a photographer and he has his standards BIG QUESTION FOR EITHER OF YOU GUYS ARE THERE NO WINMO 7 LEAKS

Guest snapz54 Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 (edited) I'm having a weird problem??? When I load everything after I flash, the icons in the start menu act funny. At first everything shows up with it's own icon then after a reset or two everything that wasn't cooked in starts to change back to a default application icon??? Any Ideas? Guest Grassguy Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 I don't know why MS doesn't just put the Zune software in with WM.
Guest dasayayin Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 Hey!! what happened to FloTanium M2D are we going to get another release? :D 1.6 was the last one?
Guest Scott6 Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 Wow, I don't like this WM build at all. Its nothing personal about the rom itself. Its just were MS is going with 6.5.1. I tried this v2.0 rom, and Adryn's 4.0 vanilla. The big buttons look so off! like they don't belong there. I hear your 1.7 is a nice rom, im going to try that one out... Allthought, your 2.0 has a nice feature set, and its nice and fast.
Guest bga7x Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 v1.8 23031 is now online check first post this is a more stable release!
Guest Oscar9 Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 v1.8 23031 is now online check first post this is a more stable release! I suppose I will be one of the first to try it out. I'm currently running Adryns 4.0 rom which I have been pretty happy with after doing some minor registry changes here and there, but there are a few things that drive me crazy (for instance, resco explorer freezes for about 5 seconds randomly when I'm looking through my files). Flashing away, thanks Bgill, ill let you know what I think :D

Hmm keyboard response for me is awful, even trying to dial out a number, I have to wait a couple seconds before I can press another number.
Guest Oscar9 Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 (edited) Bgill, your very welcome. I'm gonna go play around with it some more, it's great! Guest myoder020 Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 hmmm... idk why it's not working for you, did you format your storage before you flashed? You don't need to since it does a hard reset when you flash.
Guest Otterdude Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 1.8 Rocks!! You rule bro!! 2.0 was too buggy for me.

Guest Oscar9 Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 You don't need to since it does a hard reset when you flash. when you flash a rom it does format your device, but im not too sure it formats your storage (not storage card, just "My Storage"). I think, although I might be wrong, that flashing only applys to the RAM and not the internal storage.
Guest snapz54 Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 You don't need to since it does a hard reset when you flash. I don't think that's quite right??? If you don't hard reset and you flash a new rom you will find remnants of programs in your my storage and in the device program files, probably windows and registry remnants as well. True hard reset is the way to get a clean start and then if the problems still persist then start asking.
Guest midiwriter Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 (edited) Can you please post the link/cab for M2D version that you prefer? I'd love to add it to your awesome 1.8 ROM! Edited August 22, 2009 by midiwriter
