so far 1.8 is the fastest and most stable version I've tried! I'm really liking that taskbar, too! This was a pleasant surprise when I came home from work.

when you flash a rom it does format your device, but im not too sure it formats your storage (not storage card, just "My Storage"). I think, although I might be wrong, that flashing only applys to the RAM and not the internal storage.

I think you're right...I once forgot to hard reset and my custom ringtones were in my new ROM.

I don't think that's quite right??? If you don't hard reset and you flash a new rom you will find remnants of programs in your my storage and in the device program files, probably windows and registry remnants as well. True hard reset is the way to get a clean start and then if the problems still persist then start asking.

I know I was only talking about the stuff on my device not my storage, why would I need to format that?

How much space do you have on fresh flash of 1.8?

it was only slow for me when i had XDA_UC installing in the background.

I have a question...i just downloaded the 2.0 of this rom. Is there a way to

1. get the normal taskbar back

2. Have 3 icons per row instead of 4?

Also i noticed when in start menu the very top icons are under the taskbar.

just two things bothering me

1. my soft keys are missing in the you tube app, like the menu button. there actually there but you can't see them.

2. Having to double tap slow is kinda annoying... do you know whats causing that?

I i justed realized you posted that missing view cab, wonder if that'll fix the first issue

This is somewhat un-important but does anyone have issues with Solitaire? You can't drag the cards around. This happened in 2.0 as well as 1.8 which I'm using now.

I believe this is a new "feature" from MS. I've seen this in other builds that have not been cooked as well.

Anyone else having trouble with Google Maps? seems the search features is having trouble detecting the touch keyboard. I tried re-installing it as well and have still had no luck.

FYI: i set my 'external gps settings' to program port 3 and the hardware to port 9 with managed... checked and Bing works flawlessly!

Knowing Microsoft you maybe right, although I wouldn't call it a new "feature" as much as a new "bug"

I've been a loyal Ady Base ROM user but flashed to 1.8 today and I think I'll be a new Bgill follower. I'm LOVING this ROM so far. My only gripe is the Keyboard lag just like everyone else. I only notice it when using the T9 Samsung Phonepad as I type slowly with the Samsung Keyboard. But I can deal with that for the added features in this new 6.5

I look forward to following your work and once again becoming a Flashaholic. Great work!

BG, I have been hanging around on your 1.5 ROM since you released it and was reluctant to make the switch till the major bugs got worked out. I finally couldn't take it any longer and flashed to 1.8 today. It's great! I have seen complaints about the large icons and the extra scrolling but I think I'm finally gonna be able to put my stylus up for most of what I do. Excellent work! Thanks for working hard to make this as compatible as possible for our phones man.
