Guest Chimp Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 Bgill55 - thanks once again. I think 2.1 may be the one for me. It seems really stable, and looks pretty damned good, responsive and plenty of free ram. I'll probably have a tough time not re-flashing - like an addict trying to break the habit. You'll keep coming around like a pusher, tempting me to just take one more hit. And I'll remember how good your stuff was... On another note, I had the same problems with the EVDO and other taskbar icons as above - wouldn't light up. I just installed Radd's GTR2 over top of it, and that one works. (I also used his transparent manilla dialer - no scroll bar!) Thanks for all you hard work. Hey Tedkord, where did you get the GTR2 taskbar at?
Guest Chimp Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 Bgill: I messed up... I was in Home...Settings and accidentally clicked on a different theme. Now I don't see your theme in there so I can't reselect it. Do you have anything to reinstall your theme for 2.1? /Chimp
Guest jezze boi Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 The 3 across start menu is the first thing I do! I guess my vision is going, I have trouble with the 4 across. Here is a screen shot of it. *EDIT* I have included the code in a .txt file. Just replace the code inside your StartMenu_GridScene_240x400.cpr (Portrait Only!) REMEMBER TO MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR ORIGINAL .CPR FILE BEFORE MAKING CHANGES! thanks! is there any chance you can upload a .cpr file... never tried editing anything .cpr files so... i have no knowledge on how to do that
Guest jmart518 Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 (edited) thanks! is there any chance you can upload a .cpr file... never tried editing anything .cpr files so... i have no knowledge on how to do that I would, however the forum doesn't allow .cpr file uploads. It is really easy to edit this though. 1) Copy the StartMenu_GridScene_240x400.cpr file from your Windows directory on your phone to your PC 2) Open the .cpr file with Notepad or a text editor of your choice 3) Download the txt file from my post earlier 4) Copy and past its code into your .cpr 5) Save file and replace the one on your phone Edited August 30, 2009 by jmart518

Guest rubadub234 Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 I am loving the single row start menu, less confusing IMO. looks great, now add in some icons from bluemetalaxe at his ireflect thread at xda and you are all set these are some of my favorites, theres one for almost everything RoundedIcons.rar

Guest jezze boi Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 one extremely minor problem i've had throughout the ROMS... this is how the panels are supposed to be displayed... but this is what happens when i scroll up and down.... why does this happen? i don't mind it too much... but it's kinda annoying sometimes since i have to either rotate the screen or refresh chome to fix....
Guest jmart518 Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 Glad to help! Where did you find the shutdown plugin? I am pretty new to titanium, always used WAD2 instead. Is there a good place to start that you can point me to?

Guest jmart518 Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 (edited) Nice, is there a tutorial on custom panels or did you just figure it on your own? Edited August 30, 2009 by jmart518
Guest bga7x Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 its a custom plugin i made... just added the psShutXP as the app it launches :D looks good some of the older panels change the cpr back to the way it used to be, they need to be edited to the new was the today CPRs are. I dont have the time to fix customs panels i would contact the developer of the panels to see if they are going to fix them!!!
Guest jezze boi Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 (edited) Nice, is there a tutorial on custom panels or did you just learn it on your own? figured it out :D not so hard... the most difficult part is finding the files... since it takes a while to do so... along with the images... just know what images to use and put them on a folder that is easy to locate... Edit: http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...le-6-5-goodies/ you can check out that thread for more information  Edited August 30, 2009 by jezze boi

Guest bga7x Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 oh... okay... so when I import the registry files (custom panels along with clauncher) all the panels are affected? if it changes the Titanium CPR in any way then yes!
Guest jezze boi Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 if it changes the Titanium CPR in any way then yes! there is something that may conflict with that theory... after i flash... that is the first thing i check... it seems to be something else... since it's always there after i flash to any ROM...

Guest tedkord Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 Hey Tedkord, where did you get the GTR2 taskbar at? Here
Guest luc1f3rspalm Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 Bill the new "waiting/thinking" image is way better, i don't know what you were thinking with the last one, this one's absolutely beautiful though.
Guest hrh313 Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 can someone please tell me what M2D is? And the advantages/disadvantages of it versus the other? Or is it just personal preference? thanks.
