Bgill You have outdone yourself my friend. thank you for all of your efforts. My experience with this phone would have been bland had I not switched over.

Got a couple of questions (as usual).

1. I am not using Flotanium now because I could never get components of MD2 to ever work. (weather and music to be exact). I tried to install SPB MS 3. could not get the script to to launch properly when I tried to customize to with imarche customization pack. All I know is that after I my failed attempt at launching it the Titanium panels seem to be broken. I get this error when I try to click on weather panel: "The file Titanium Weather cannot be opened. Either it is not signed in with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found." This happens when I try to add a program to "Applications" panel as well and others.

Do I need to reinstall Titanium altogether? If so, is there a .cab available?

2. I would like to have a different background on the Titanium page and the Start page. How do I save a picture that is different on the hexagon page?

So is the consensus that M2D 2.0 is not worth it because of the bugs? I am looking to move to 2.1 and was wondering if I should do the non M2D and add the 1.9b version or not? I am an M2D fan, but I don't overly customize it, add themes, etc.

If you want M2D v1.9b, i'd flash to the Non-M2D 2.1 Rom and just install the cab for v1.9b

EDIT: Just re-read the previous post and a simple yes would have sufficed :D

Just do a soft reset, sometimes the items in the startup folder get 'confused'

i will be switching bak to M2D v 19b on next release this should fix your issues!

to change the Backgroung on the start page you will need to take the back ground you want and replace tdywater_240_400 and tdywater_400_240 using resco explorer or the like. this will change the start menu the just add another wall paer you choose to change the today screen! this will give you two different images for today and start menu!

Sorry if you've already answered this question, I searched the thread and still the confusion remains. I am running version 1.4 of your ROM (love it) but would like to upgrade to 2.1... I do not have a MicroSD card installed on my phone though (the 8GB internal is more than I need). Is there a way to install the new ROM without using XDA_UC? I tried to install version 1.5 before I installed 1.4 but the phone would get stuck after soft reset (I guess looking for the non-existing XDA_UC folder) so I settled for 1.4. I would really love to flash to your 2.1 build if this is possible without the MicroSD card. Thanks in advance for your help and Thanks for all the time you spend cooking these ROMs.

yeah you can upgrade XDA wont hurt if there is no storage card after a soft reset it will run in the back ground! then just hit ok when done!

Yeah I don't use a storage card either and this ROM runs beautifully!

bgill I'm gonna miss your ROMs when the Omnia2 comes out! Are you planning to cook for that phone?

i noticed in the changelog that iContact was removed. if this was due to a buggy M2D v.2, i'd love to see it back in. its developer has come out with a great google-voice addin, and it runs great with iContact cooked in. it supports omnia's d-pad, and toggles between carrier and google-voice with simple swipe over it.

Thanks, but i have done a soft reset 3 times and I even took the battery out for 30 seconds to see if it would snap out of it be nothing. The "Personalizer" error comes up every time as Titanium boots up. Same issue.

try re-installing net framework 3.5

Well After alot of pain stacking hours working on stuff I hate, I have finished 2 well 3 themes that you can switch between. DVF Green, Vera Wang Red, and for those that switch themes but like the theme the way it was when you flashed you can now choose Rock and Republic black to get it back to default! Themes has been my downfall since I started cooking but I have worked long and hard on this I hope you guys enjoy it! I will release a new rom with these cooked in. They all have a carbon fiber background, along with matching Piviot Arrows to go with the theme which you can change to what ever floats your boat!

Rock and republic Black will be the same as 2.1 you can see the first post for those screen shots! this still a work in progress im still messing with the coloring a little bit! so this is not the final release once its done ill post cabs until the new build comes out!

Just reinstall Personalizer i guess, if you don't use it then delete it from \Windows\Startup and the problem will go away.

another problem i found with it is it sometimes makes the text harder to read even when almost perfectly aligned...

any registry hack?

or any ideas where the registry is screwed or something?

Second, I have one question that some may think i am crazy for, or you may have already answered. The only thing I dont like about the ROM is that I cannot decipher the new icons at the top (i.e. i never know when my battery is low). Is there any way to revert back without changing anything else. I especially love the new buttons at the bottom!

that Krazy Radd task bar in 2.1 is almost impossible to see against your black background. Is there a cab to put the Krazy Radd 1.9 taskbar into 2.1??

just install the task bar you want to device memory and soft reset. make sure its one the newer ones for build 23028 and higher!

If you tap the icon bar, it will make it bigger... I don't know if you knew that or not?

If you did know that, and still doesnt fix your problem, you can pick out another taskbar you like better to install to your phone. There are a lot out there to choose from. Just make sure the one you choose is the same "type," meaning recent build.
