Is anyone else having a problem with entering TEXT in the search option on Google Maps? Nothing I type shows up.....

Hey Bgill, I'm having problems with the lock screen when i get a text message. If the phone is on standby, and i get a text, i press one of the front buttons and the lock screen appears. When i 'tap' on the slider the notification slider doesn't pop up. Will test some more.

Sounds like the volume is fixed in this build, as is the lock screen. I use s2u2 though, fixes the volume issue.

Now we have to find out if it is actually fixed for our devices. Just because it works for an HTC device does not mean it will work for us.

Start/Settings/Home and then select the theme.

This is weird because with all the different roms and different versions of google maps I've tried this is the first time I can't type.

I flashed over from Blazing Wolfs where it worked perfectly, I tried installing the black russian CF03 keyboard

and it doesn't work either. XT9 mode works, but the numbers still don't work. I tried the built in rom version and I installed

google maps to my storage but no dice.

I get the garbled pictures as well. It doesn't happen all the time but it does do it. In fact I got a call before checking the forum and the picture is filled with lines and twisted.

Hmmm... I haven't had it work once yet. Same thing black/white lines and twisted. Bummer because the lock screen is the

one I see the most because of our company server.

It seems that you have to tap the slider button off center to the right to get it to work

Got all my kinks worked out with 2.1 but one thing: the picture viewer (HTC Album I think) loads in landscape orientation and I can't find any options to bring it back to portrait. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thank you to everyone that tried to help me with my previous problems. It seems that the installWGVGA.scr in the imarche customization pack did something to the mort script that was already on the phone. There was a .cab floating around here for a mort script. I reinstalled it and my problem was resolved.

Got a question. Like I said before I am not using md2 any more, but I want an alternative UI. I actually want to use the new TouchWiz/widgets in conjunction with Titanium. Is that possible to do with 2.1 ROM?

If it is what .cab version do I have to install and is there an easy way to flip back between Titanium and TouchWiz? Thanks in advance.

BG, thank you for making my old phone feel new again :D

You need to get the HTC Album Omnia Files, and extract them into the /Windows/ Folder, and then delete one of the cache files, and then it will load in portrait. Google or search on here for it.

I too was having the lock screen distortion on caller id pics. I re-flashed to 2.1 and installed the task bar you used in 1.9 from Krazy radd and for some reason, some how, the picture distortion on the caller id screen isn't happening for me anymore...

Two last pieces and i think I may be set.

1. I still want to switch between Titanium and the widgets. Is there a registry hack or would anyone know how I couldaccomplish this?

2. I don't have touch Player installed at all. Is there a way to map Windows media player to that widget instead?

(If there is a specific thread that details these actions please just point me in the direction. Doing a search on wigets gets a lot of hits).
