I got 2.3 installed this morning. I tried to install Krazy Radd's black task bar that you used for 2.2. All the icons worked with the exception of the signal strenth antenna bars icon... All of them changed except that one which remained stock... is this due to the new build??

When the phone was soft reset after install to start the XDA_UC cabs installing, the phone asked me if I wanted to re-format my SD card... I obviously said no. I shut the phone down by a battery pull and pulled the SD card out and put it back then restarted and seemed to correct the issue other than having to go into the XDA folder and manually install all the cabs one at a time.

Excellent job overall. I got to work on my patience though :)

I installed Krazy radd's dusk bar and seems to work just fine... Must be that the black bar can't handle 23409...

What area?? cause I flash at least once a week, and never have that problem. Im in Long island NY

I'm in Greeley, CO. It kind of sucks having to wait 3 days in order to use the internet only to have new rom be released and have to go through it all again.

I always set the "x" button to close the programs when I tap it but in this version it doesn't seem to work. I can tap the button but it still doesn't close the program I have to open task manager to close the programs. Has anyone else noticed this?

has a 3rd-party task manager/tweak/etc been cooked into 23409 to handle this? if not, what are some consideration in future builds?

Make sure you open up the touchresponse settings and change the device settings from "10" to "11." That's when it REALLY makes it work well. I noticed my touch screen response is much better overall.

Start, Settings, System, Touch Response Settings. Then click the device tab, and change from "10" to "11." You'll like your phone again after that :)

Things Im working On!!! "BlissTanium" thanks to all that ported this I have just updated the CPRs and .tsk files so they work with the new builds! this is cooked in not sure if i will release though!

I would love to try these themes. Most themes available don't work right on the current builds. I'm down to just see a cab file!

Wow, I downloaded 2.2 last night while I was gettin ready to go out, so I figured I would flash it this morning when I woke up. So I woke up about 30 minutes ago get on here and see now its 2.3....LOL....I'm glad I checked b4 flashing 2.2 would've been a waste of time. Anyways 2.3 looks great, the Roms always do Bgill! Thanx for your hard work and dedication to our Omnia's! I'll be donating someday soon. :)

The x in Showcase still works though it is in the top bar and not the bottom bar.

Hey Bgill,

I've been trying to keep up with all the fixes in the last couple of weeks but by mistake I finally got a JOB

(yeah)

SO... I had asked about a SWMC.exe error that won't let VZ access connect a few days ago.

I can only connect with Internet sharing connection which for some reason is slower and sometimes drops connection.

Does the 23409 rom correct this problem??

I'm currently using BW's 23041 which has a exe. file in the windows folder named SWMC.exe .

Can I copy that file and dump it in your rom's window folder to address this problem ???

I really like the the BlissTanium looks very impressive and I prefer the menu text instead of only icons on the menu page.

Between you and Blazingwolf's Rom's you both make the Omnia i910 a real phone but you both make the choices tough as to which rom to use to the next improvment.

yes i have that exe in! i must have deleted it when CF03 came out and i was in the trimming stage! if you dont want to re-flash i posted a cab a few pages back for the fix

this is due to the overrideicon.dll, the way his tasks are set up, when you install his tasks the dll already in the rom does just what its supposed to do and over rides it!

i noticed that in M2D the email notification # preview email is always off, not indicating new email, can only preview & read new email if i go to inbox.

i also noticed that if you tap top of screen by icons nothing happens, in other rom you can scroll through speaker, battery, notifications??

any ideas?

the task bar is a new thing that MS did. they fixed the volume buttons then decided to make the task bar drop down only usable on the titanium today screen!

So, would the fix be to uninstall his task, get rid of that .dll, then re-install??? I just don't want to break things any more. Its not that big a deal and I can leave the stock one if it's going to be a pain to get around...
