Okay, so anyone have any hatred towards the new alarms in these roms??

Where did the old alarm program go?!?

The new alarm sure LOOKS pretty, but it doesn't really repeat the alarm tones enough... and it just stops after a while without it needing to be snoozed/dismissed...

Most importantly, it doesn't auto find the ringtones!!! we are stuck with the defaults!! well unless you throw some tones into alarm folder i guess :)

Is there any way to get the old alarms back?? cabs or some good alarm programs??

Ive noticed the same issue with the alarms shutting down too soon.

As far as your ring tones. I drop all ring tones in the SD card but don't put it into any folder. The phone will find all ringtones on the card. Just place it into the card and thats it.

I agree, it's not great.

- lame ringtones and can't use our own.

- no repeat

but,

- alarm is now recognized in manila today screen

- new screen comes on when locked, similar to 6.5 lock screen. gives you the option to snooze or dismiss

Bgill do you plan on working on ROMs for the Omnia 2? Im sure we will see the phone on Verizon in the next 2 months. I would love to have 6.5.1 as soon as possible with the Omnia 2 :)

its going to be the same issue we had before we have to have a leaked or released rom to dump and cook from.

but to answer your question yes!

ok I love the new finger friendly WinMo 6.5!!!

However I notice a lot of other 3rd party apps seems to be cut off by the new larger soft keys.

My question is whether this is fixable by me? Like is there some sort of registry edits I can do or cab I can install, or is up to the developers of the apps to do some code stuff on their end?

I would absolutely love to get the latest build working with SPB MS3 and I havent had a lot of luck searching for answers :)

I just scanned over the Resco forums and couldn't locate any information about whether or not an update is being worked on. Most likely won't happen till after the October 6th official release of WM 6.5. It is still 100% functional, just looks a little off.

Ahh the cable guy. The dark angle that steals what time you have left your way to visit his brother death..........Oh ! Sorry ! Just moved two months ago into an 106 year old building.
