Guest Grassguy Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 hmm... i've had it twice on your 2.3 once on your 2.4.1 and a few times on Hart's 23409 ROM... I'm trying to find a common denominator. I haven't added anything new. Try it fresh, put one cab at a time and wait a while to see if it's that peticular app. Then add another and so forth, i had to do this many times to fish out conflicting apps. Also, S2U2 had this problem when the S2U2 settings conflicted with the system settings. Let me know if you use S2U2 and i'll tell you what my settings are.
Guest Grassguy Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 that is already in the Rom! I know, i'm wondering if he's on an older ROM
Guest dopeness Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 Ok, to enable the contact autocomplete in messaging \HKLM\System\Inbox\RecipientAutocomplete\MaxSuggestions Change to 4 Thanks for this. My issue, in particular, deals with AFTER I have all the contacts chosen, and then send a message. Only 5 out of the 9 people get the mms. I did not believe people when they said they never received my messages. I put the delivery notification and the retrieved notification on. Sure enough, I sent 3 messages with 9 users in each. i only got back a total of 15 delivered (instead of 27) after an hour. :)
Guest Fecious Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 I'm liking Bliss a lot. Only thing I notice is I can't see my send button in the soft keys while texting.Overall, I think I very much like the soft keys in Flotanium better, but the Bliss Rom is righteous either way. :) Thanks for the awesome ROMs BG.
Guest dopeness Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 (edited) I don't see Java as being something cooked into the ROM. Is that because it is not a vital program? Does it add anything to the performance? Trying to figure out if it is worth installing or not. Thanks. Edited September 11, 2009 by dopeness

Guest dopeness Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 Java Is Cool I just dont use it that why its not in the Rom! You are the general and I am the foots soldier so I am taking your lead on this. Just curious, is there any one thing in particular it does that would it make it worth installing? Just don't know what it does. Thanks.
Guest Amtrak}TCP{ Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 XDA_UC Instructions!!! Before you flash this Rom, you need to set up a few things on your phone! In your Storage Card(not My Storage) you need to set up a folder called XDA_UC. In this folder you can put any .cabs files that you load to Device Memory, IE: Titanium Plugins, SRS WOW....etc. in that folder you need to create a a sub folder called SD, put any .cab files that you install to "My Storage" or your "Storage card". What XDA_UC will do is after you flash, And Soft Reset it will install those .cabs for you so you can just look at you phone and smile as all the work is done for you! Cabs that you put in the SD folder will need your attention as it will ask where you want them to be installed. You can do so much more with this tool! but this is a good start for you! here is the Link to read more about it!!! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3611692 You must Soft Reset after Flash you will se XDA_UC pop up with a count down you can either tap it or let the timer count down!! after that Soft reset if needed, to finalize the instalation of your cabs!! I hope you all enjoy this!! it will cut down the time after you flash until you are up and running!! Before you download to get your SIP and Opera tap delay fixed please put the Touch Response cab in you XDA_UC folder to install to device does this mean that you must have a micro SD card in the phone for the flash to work. Because I don't own one as of yet and would still like to flash my phone, or does this mean that to install customized software from the being with out manually doing it later I must have a micro sd card. some clarification would be nice since I don't want to brick my phone.

Yeah, you need an SD card. :)
Guest javikid Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 "Blisstanium" v2.4.1 Is it coming out soon? I have the v2.4 and everything is working for me and looks great, this is addicting :) thank you thank you
Guest xenspidey Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 Yeah, you need an SD card. :) you don't need an SD card to flash this ROM, just to take advantage of XDA_UC. I prefer Sashimi so i don't even use UC

I do use S2U2 but it was not installed when i had my last death sleep incident. i have a feeling it could be PocketTwit and some settings that i had on My Storage card with sounds that aren't in the ROM that were in a different one. Thanks though... Â I'll let you know if i figure it out. As for S2U2, i'd be interested in your settings.Â

It will routinely take upwords of 24hrs to get MMS's, so we just use email.

Guest Fecious Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 (edited) Can't seem to type in google map search. Do I possibly need a 3rd party keyboard or something? Edited September 11, 2009 by Fecious
Guest PiKapp Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 Can't seem to type in google map search. Do I possibly need a 3rd party keyboard or something? That's been a problem with google maps for a long time. For some reason, you can't type in google maps using the standard keyboard, it's a programming error on googles part, and they havent fixed it yet. If you switch to one of your other keyboards it will work. Or you can use a third party keyboard such as fingerkeyboard.

Guest jaycemil Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 (edited) Nope, I still get the same thing. obexftp -b xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx -l -v Browsing xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx ... Connecting...failed: connect error on connect(): Invalid argument I just flashed up to flotanium 2.4.1 and the obex ftp is still broken. Any other ideas? Edit: Never mind, the command line does work now but for some reason my gui doesn't. That could very well be on my end. Edited September 11, 2009 by jaycemil
